I liked the location so I stopped here for a week. I liked it with the exception that I couldn't figure out why it was so expensive: $60 a night at the weekly rate. The spots were smallish concrete pads with hedges on either side and a bit of grass behind the pad-- nice and clean but nothing particularly special. There is a decent pool but the hot tub wasn't very warm. There is a very nice large grassy area with a gorgeous view of the mountains-- maybe this is the reason for the price? The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The park is across from a higher end Senior Citizen development and close to the I-10 with some highway noise. All in all the place is fine but I moved on to a park with similar facilities and a better price.

This was our second stay this year at Shadow Hills, both pleasant. Everything very clean with large sites. There are tall Oleander bushes on each side of site which makes your RV camping site much more private. Paved roads around this large campground with paved pads for RV. There are several fenced grass doggie areas for the pets, 2 small lakes, large heated pool & spa with large patio area with several tables & chairs. you will see white ducks & mallards walking around the campground with no fear. We even opened our door to a roadrunner who seemed perfectly at home with us.

This campground is off the I-10. It’s a gated campground and we felt safe. However the space is tight. We have a 36ft travel trailer with a Ram truck. It was a tight squeeze. COVID has the clubhouse, library, and gym closed. It expensive for the lack of space and lacking amenities.

All my state and national reservations have been cancelled the last 2 months so I decided to try a private resort after some Covid restrictions were lifted. I love this place!!! I made the booking online but had to call with some changes and they were so nice and accommodating. When we arrived, Bry, came out to assist us for the check-in. It was my first time backing into any site and he was sooo patient, helpful and encouraging. Our site was next to the bathroom (behind us) but it wasn’t a problem at all - actually quite convenient! We overlooked the beautiful pond filled with ducks and the snow capped mountains in the distance. Everyone we met was super friendly and mostly longtime return guests. Bathrooms were spotless and the pool/jacuzzi was really nice. Everything else closed for Covid but I can’t wait to come back! Close to the freeway and the occasional train would pass but the noise was never a problem. Already booking my next stay!

Definitely a high-end rv spot. When they pick up your garbage each morning, you know you've arrived. Lots of pricey Class A's and 5th Wheels here, all washed and beautiful. We were small potatoes but were treated well by the management. Not many activities although they have a hot tub, pool and horseshoes. No restaurants or stores nearby. Nice but somewhat out of our league. We were right next to a main road, so there was some noise from it.

We were traveling through Indio, CA and hoped to find a nice RV Park with full hookups (to run our AC as it was over 100 degrees) for us and our friends for the night. Not much available in the area so I opened up my Campendium app and this RV park was one exit off the freeway away from us. The place was pleasingly green with trees and shrubs between the sites, and showed to be very clean as we drove in. There were plenty of spaces available, and we were checked in promptly, moved into our spot for the night, and changed into our suits to enjoy the pool in record time. I have only given 4 stars as the park is a bit dated/worn. No other reason and we spent a quiet night and were on our way in the morning.

This RV campground is clean and spacious. No pull through but plenty of space to back in. Cable and Wi-Fi are not the greatest. Close to all the cities around the area. Restroom is clean. Located just off I-10, close by the railroad tracks and can hear the train at night. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

This park is directly across from a beautiful Del Web Community and easily accessible to all the valley communities. Groceries, fuel, restaurants and supplies are all within 5 to 15 minutes. This is an older property but has been well kept and has a certain retro charm to it. The rate reflects out choice of a grass site, paved sites are higher priced. Used the laundry which was clean enough, didn't use other amenities such as shower rooms or the pool. There is a walking path around a lovely little pond with a sitting area and fire pit, and near the pond they offer opportunity for folks without an RV to experience a stay in one of their vintage rental campers. There is a fair amount of street noise but nothing that kept us awake.

Booking and after-hours checkin was a breeze. The park is neatly laid out and the roads are nice a wide making things easy for bigger rigs. I grabbed my packet and found my site within minutes.

Overall, it's a nice park. Very clean and orderly. Hookups were in excellent shape. Excellent water pressure/volume. People were very quiet in my experience. I got a courtesy call "reminding" me that there was no charcoal burning after I had made dinner in my portable firepit. So, my impression is that they keep an eye on things and enforce the rules. I'm all for this.

There's a nice duck pond with a walking trail around it which is delightful. They have several vintage Airstream-style trailers lined up along the pond. It's really a cute place.

But, in the future I will choose to stay at other places in the area due to the value proposition. My site was plenty big and very clean, but it butted right up against the sites behind me with nothing between us. Privacy would be better in the sites around the perimeter of the park. And it just felt like there was a ton of pavement and not a ton of greenery.

For about 15-20% more per night I could stay at, for example, ORPS. ORPS is truly a "luxury" RV resort with beautiful grounds, amazing amenities, and more privacy. So for that reason I would say spend a few bucks at another park nearby.
