Great service from Daniel in the office.
WE lived in Stockton nearby for 25 years, but moved away and now this is our home visiting spot. It is quiet and clean. Water front view helps make life better. Only electric and water at the sites, but the free onsite dump station is not busy.

This was the second time we’ve stopped here for the night while driving through California. An enjoyable night’s stopover over while putting some miles under the wheels. Freeway close and next to a city park on the Stockton Deep Water Channel. The surrounding neighborhood is upscale and all the amenties you might want are close by. On the last visit we had a pleasant walk behind the homes which line the channel and the Calaveras River which empties into the channel not too far away.
We had a reservation but arrived after the marina store and the gate into the marina were closed. There is a phone number on the gate to call after hours. While we were calling, a couple already in the marina gave us the gate code to get in, but we promptly received a call back from the staff and got settled into our site.
Our site was next to the fence separating the marina from the park (site 12). On this weekday summer evening, there was a slight amount of noise due to some groups in the park (sites father in the marina would not have noticed this). After dark, a motor boat on the channel shared their music with the world for a brief period of time. Minor disturbances, but a reminder that you are camping in an urban area, even though it feels like you’re miles away.
And oh, the feeling of being miles away. The channel is just steps away, the area across the channel is undeveloped, and the park is next door. You can watch the boats and sometimes large ocean freighters go by. Morning and evening with the rowing sculls silently working their way down the channel is pretty magical.
Clean bathrooms and free showers. Free and fast wifi. Picnic table and artificial grass patio area for our site. A dump station. We only hooked up to electricity, not the water since we were just stopping for the night. 50 amps is available on some Premium or Deluxe sites as noted on the online reservation system and the map I’ve included in the photos. The reservation site lists an RV age restriction (2000 and newer (17 years old during our stay), 10 years for vans).

Limited number of RV sites (expect it will be full during prime boating season), mine was a non-river site, river sites are $10 more. wi-fi for me was very poor . . . unlike other review . . . OTA TV was OK wiht a simple antenna.
Got to watch a freighter glide by just at sunset, very nice.

This is our second time staying here and we are already talking about when we will come again. Normally we don’t like staying at privately owned campgrounds but this one is an exception. First of all, it is in a surprisingly beautiful riverfront location; so interesting to watch the ships, rowing shells, and kayakers go by. secondly, the showers and bathrooms are meticulously maintained, there there is a laundry. Finally, the Wi-Fi is strong and included in the price.
We live in San Diego and it is a great “last stop“ that we look forward to before our final leg home.

Stayed here for my daughters softball tournament. Site 12 is near the entrance so you get some noise after hours with the gate opening and closing but it didn’t bother us much. You get a lot of privacy since it’s on the end with nice landscaping. Helpful staff. It’s hot and there were water skiers out quite early in the morning.

We wanted to see Apple Hill, but didn't want an expensive campground. This campground is pretty, but oh, are your neighbors close! We could hear our neighbors' conversing inside their RV. I hope during the early morning we didn't disturb them too much with our sliding entry door. Anyway, cell and wifi service are good. Bathhouse is a little odd in its design, but clean.

Very nice small RV park near the marina. Quiet with plenty of space for our 36 ft 5th wheeler. Sites are close together which is typical. $75/night. WiFi was adequate. Bathrooms are some of the best I’ve ever seen. No sewer hook ups but there is a dump on premises. Would definitely come again. Nice weekend getaway.

I was going to arrive after the office closed for a one night stay. I called ahead and was able to check in and get a gate code over the phone. When I arrived, I was able to open the gate and get to the site with no problem.
The waterfront sites overlook the San Joaquin River. I had a gravel site that was mostly level. The RV park and marina grounds were all very clean. I would stay again.
