We always stay at The Parkway RV Resort & Campground during our Mini Stock, Mini Truck, Mini Mods, Hobby Stock, Wingless Sprints, Demo Derby, and Street Stock fall racing excursion to Sacramento Valley Speedway, over there in Orland, California.
So peaceful and quiet at The Parkway Campground, after a long day at our SVS races. Always friendly and pleasant folks there too. Be sure to relax at their nice swimming pool, and around The Parkway Fire Pit at night. Have a cold one with the boys!

We've stopped here several times. We often drive I5 from southern California to the northwest and consider this park a required stopover for a couple of days to relax and refresh before continuing on our journey. The park has very large spacious sites, with lots of trees and grass. It is far enough from the road to be quiet and close enough to provide easy access. The owners are proud of the park and have worked hard to maintain the place. They are friendly and welcoming. They offer wine tasting right at the park. They will happily direct guests to where they can find restaurants, groceries, fuel, repairs, etc. There are wineries within a pleasant drive. The town of Orland has several restaurants and a couple offering food far above what one would expect in a small town. There are a number of stores and a market within a few minutes drive of the park.

We have stayed here many times--it's just a mile off Highway 5, but that makes it much quieter than most RV parks that are this convenient. It's very clean and well-maintained--a family operation and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The pool, though small, is clean and a welcome relief after a hot drive. Arrival can be a bit confusing if you come after the office has closed, but there is a phone number on the door, and they always come sign you in. Usually there are some blank registration cards to fill out. There is a gas station at the freeway, so it's an easy departure in the morning. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed here only one night, but it was one of the better parks in which we stayed on our 2+ week trip. IMHO the rate is a little too high, but that's my only complaint. The sites were big and roomy, so that you didn't feel you were right next to the other campers. We did have to add leveling blocks under the rear wheels of our camper, as the site was slightly sloped. Lots of trees and green grass, too, for shade and walking the dogs. The staff were very friendly.
We didn't go into the restrooms, but the laundry facility was nice and clean. The office includes a small gift shop and they offer wine tasting, which we didn't try but looks like it would be fun. Wi-Fi signal was good and strong, and cellphone (Verizon) signal was strong too. The park is close enough to the freeway to be convenient but far enough away to that the noise isn't bad. Also, there are numerous full-timers, and some of their rigs aren't in the greatest shape, although none are full-out junk either.
Overall, we liked it here and would stay again if passing through the area.

We stopped here on a long drive home from Oregon & were pleasantly surprised. The site had a nice tree providing needed shade over a grassy area for our chairs & it was just perfect as the day cooled. (We bought a bottle of Cabernet from a local winemaker at the office.) Freeway access was really good & I suspect we’ll stay again! Our only negative was the rate, which seems a little high.

We needed a spot for one night in December, made the reservation a month in advance. nine days before, due to COVID numbers climbing in California we decided not to make the trip down from Washington state to So Cal.
I called and left a few messages, got no response, so I emailed them eight times asking them to cancel my reservation and refund my money. they never responded to my phone calls or emails. they basically let the clock run out as they have a three day refund policy, I had stated calling and emailing Nine days ahead of our arrival. they billed my credit card the full $74.55. on other review sites people say the same thing, they dont refund your money no matter how far in advance you call.
I will never stay here with these type of people. If I could give Zero stars I would have..

We were looking for a night to stay to break our long drive. Only place near by that we were able to get someone on the phone to make reservations same day. Campground was quiet and clean.
It appears that they are updating it. Family bathroom coming soon.
Big bummer was their bathroom being closed due to COVID and remodel.

Arrived after hours without a reservation. Called number provided at the office, spoke to a friendly woman who assigned us a site and took CC info. The campground is totally level, nicely maintained, pleasant and easy to navigate. We did not use any of the facilities (swimming pool, restrooms) so I don't know about those. Convenient location just off interstate but also quiet.
We used this as a base to go birding at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuges.
Also discovered this campground is very near Black Butte Lake and dam, a superb place to go hiking in the winter. Might be too hot in summer--no shade, spectacular vistas. Plenty of birds too in the winter.
Will stay again for next birding adventure in this area.
