Natural Wonder
Our Take
The centerpiece of this state park is (naturally) Cumberland Falls, a 68-foot cascade on the Kentucky River. It's renowned for being one of the few places in the world where "moonbows" (rainbows produced by moonlight rather than the sun) can be seen, typically during a full moon. But fear not if you're not planning your visit based on the lunar calendar; It's still a good-looking waterfall in broad daylight, too.
