Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 05, 2021It was a step up from a Walmart parking lot. Nice clean pool. Sites were ok. Lots of sand spurs (aka sand thorns or stickers) we we situated on the right side of the park where most 36+ rigs are sent, right off the busy highway (you could throw a stone at it). Bathroom is comparable to a gas station bathroom. Old, musty, but as clean as it can be. (Did not shower there) weak internet. Did not hook up the TVs. It served our purpose for an overnight stop.

I stayed at Campers Paradise in Sunset, TX for a few days and then a few more. This is a great park with no shady creepy people. It is a family oriented place with lots of sunsets. Terena was really nice and also the owner. There were a lot of RV Parts at the store

First the website link on compendium is incorrect. The website is https://campersparadisetexas.com/
We stayed here 1 night on our way from Houston to Pagosa Springs. It's great as an overnight stop but not as a destination.
The sites were easy to access with tree cover. My 29 foot trailer fit easily and we didn't have to detach from the truck. There are sites for larger rigs and I saw many large fifth wheels. Some sites had tables and cooking areas, ours did not. Our site did have full hookups and the power worked perfectly.
This campground is right off the highway with the accompanying sounds. This also made it convenient to reach and leave.
I had 2 bars of Verizon 4G.
Overall a nice stop over and it will stay on my list for future trips.

Kind of average place. Sites had a little extra room. All utilities worked fine. They did have lots of shade trees between sites. Safe, clean, decent park.

We were just passing through. Booked over the phone, very easy. The campground is super close to the highway. Between the highway noise (engine braking?) and train whistles through the night it wasn’t very restful. Sites are close, and internet was very poor. You can pay $5 to upgrade your internet which we didn’t do. The campground is tidy. I believe it was $40 a night with discount.
