We loved staying here! So close to the city yet out of the hustle and bustle. We stayed in the valley area and it was very nice. The staff and owner were super friendly and helped us on several occasions. Would recommend for anyone going to the San Antonio area.

I’m not sure of regular rate. Price was lower because I boon dock. It included WIFi. Good signal. Lots of snowbirds. There isn’t a designated dry camp area but I was level and across from the Office, bathrooms, laundry. Nice new laundry machines, clean room and the cost was low per load. I had a field behind me but the trash bin was next to me and a very bright light shone all evening. I carry eyeshades. The park is well-maintained and very quiet. Friendly neighbors. My only annoyance was when ILeft. Right before I got to the main road there appeared a road closed sign. No detours, just “Road Closed”. I asked the workers how and where to detour they said the park should have told me. Fortunately I have a shorter 23 ft rig. There is no way I could’ve turned around if I Where bigger. I called the park. Terry was nice but confusion there too. I used google Maps. I did have to go about 5 miles out of my way.

We stayed 2 nights and found the campground and its owners to be really nice. They continue to invest in the grounds and infrastructure. We stayed "down the hill" along the river and found it to be quiet and spacious. The WIFI worked as most parks do. They had just completed the new pavilion.
Access is off the highway with a Love's close by. There is a long dirt road with speed bumps but otherwise a easy drive. Easy access to San Antonio as well. Very quiet at night.

I booked my site on the evening of the 3rd with a very nice person on the phone. My wife and I arrived the next and were greeted super warmly by the staff. Checked-in and went to our site. EVERYTHING was nice and clean. The area was well manicured and our site felt like we were in the sticks - extra special! On Saturday nights, there is a community bon fire in the area we stayed, and we were invited to bring a chair with our favorite beverage and enjoy. Very nice people, nice and clean camping area. Everything was great.

Beautiful landscape where we were. Extremely well managed and maintained RV park. Enjoyed the Saturday gatherings for donuts/coffee and campfire in the evening.
Three shower areas ( I think, 1 being ADA compliant). Hot water, clean/private shower areas. Nice shop at the office.
Our pad was level with sewer hookup.
We got 3 bars of T-Mobile with boosted directional antenna (otherwise very weak). Could see several cell towers nearby but they were not our provider. I did not use Hidden Valley supplied WiFi, but my wife did. Not spectacular, but it worked.
My appreciation goes out to Teri for great experience and hospitality..

We were looking for dry camping options closer to San Antonio. This RV park was perfect! It was only about 20 minutes to the Alamo and the River Walk. The RV park itself was very nice and the owners were very friendly. The RV sites seemed spacious enough. They had a laundry room and a newer pavilion area with barbecue grills. The restrooms/showers were very nice and clean. The only negative is that they didn't have a dump station for the dry campers. We stopped at the Love's that is located off the same expressway exit. They had a dump station, but no potable water.
AT&T was super fast in the dry camping area (70+ Mbps DL and 30+ Mbps UL). Note that the creekside RV sites may not have as good of AT&T service because they are at the bottom of a hill.
They are located south of an Air Force base, so there was some jet noise during the day. I still gave 5 stars for "Noise" because we love to see and hear the fighter jets. I suppose it could be a bit annoying for those who are not that interested.

We really loved the area. We camped down in the valley, and it had a real campground feel with greenery. None of that gravel nonsense. Only drawback was usually there was no wi fi.

I would definitely stay here again. Teri in the office is very friendly and accommodating. The areas are kept very nice and exceptionally clean. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were excellent and the cleanest I’ve been in! Would recommend staying here. A little on the expensive side but worth it. Also only about 20 minutes from the heart of the city. Excellent WiFi and cell service
