Pulled in July 3rd and will stay through the 5th. 190 sites. We had a full hookup backin site for $28.50 per night. WiFi was really good unlike most parks we stay. Cable tv hookup also. Little road noise as it's right next to the freeway. Sites are pretty well spaced with some sites having adequate shade. Could be a good base camp for visiting the Black Hills.

We are happy that we stayed here. It's only 10 miles to Deadwood, 10 min to Bear Butte, an hour to Rushmore and Crazy Horse...there is so much to see in this area! This RV park is huge. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean, the sites are level, there are trees for shade and everyone who works here is really friendly. The cable doesn't work great and the wifi is nonexistent but that happens in RV parks often. We have Verizon and I was able to work without any issues. I was a little nervous because I only saw AT&T reviews in this area, so I wanted to be sure to share for others who use Verizon and work remotely. I had zero issues with service.

This campground has been our go to for several years when doing the Sturgis rally. The space we were in (402) is part of an expansion in spaces. One of the issues with these new spaces is that they are extremely tight if you have slide outs. My poor neighbors were sitting against my left living room slide (Space 403) and if I used my awning, I had to be careful to not hit my neighbor’s unit in 401. I am glad for the expansion of sites, but they need to eliminate at least one of these sites to allow the others to have some space. There was no room for social distancing with these spaces, and getting into my space was a daunting task. Without the help of fellow campers and my wife helping me get in, I would have been there for days trying to avoid a damn tree they should have cut down. A short trailer would have fit right in, but a 42’ toy hauler was one of the best challenges so far.

We tried their WiFi and it sucked. Use your hot spot if you can. ATT was great with no issues.

Really enjoyed my time here at Days End Campground, especially watching George (the park dog/mascot) run around chasing the golf cart as it drove around! The park is right off of I-90 on the west side of Sturigs and super easy to access so definitely 5-stars there. Check-in was super simple and the woman working there was really, really nice and accommodating. Great check in facility with a great lounge area and all kinds of "Sturgis" swag! Rode out with me (in her gold cart) to my spot and stayed until I was like, yeah, this is great. She even offered to allow me to move to another spot if the one I was assigned (#60) wasn't to my liking.

The location was ideal as I wanted to visit Deadwood (only 15 minutes away) and Devils Tower (75 minutes away) and you are close to a post office, all the Sturgis stuff, and a supermarket.

I thought that my site (and all the site around my site) were very clean and it seemed like every day there was a guy who was cleaning out the bathrooms, driving around and picking up any trash that might be around.

My site was awesome...super level with plenty of room and a pull-through site (my favorite kind!). I had great cell reception and my Starlink satellite had no issues the entire time. I was getting some great speeds! Also, no ants at my site which is always nice :-)

The only downside, which I alluded to earlier, is that the park is right off of I-90 so there was definitely some noise from tractor trailers and the like and boy am I glad I was not here for the biker thing...there were a few bikers there and man, those things are just really, really loud. I can't imagine multiplying the noise I as hearing by 100. That was really the only downside and it wasn't like you couldn't sleep.

Overall, great stay and would definitely recommend this park!

Cheers,
Travis

We used this as a base to go exploring to so many places! Easy to get to and friendly helpful staff. Went to Crazy Horse, Black Hills NF, Custer State Park. Facilities were good. Laundry was pretty good, a couple of washers/dryers not working, but reasonable price. Easy checkin and staff super helpful. Downside is the proximity to the noise on I90. We were in the back and it wasn't a problem for us. Also, if you're a biker - this is the place for you! They definitely have it set up for the Sturgis Rally.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. We were away from the I-90, that part was good. We got there just before the Sturgis Rally. The park was ok. We checked in, and like most parks, leashed dogs was a big deal as was with this park. But the only dog that was leashed was ours. The lady that checked us in drove by us numerous times with her Boarder Colli chasing her in the golf cart. We even had a dog from the site next to us try to come into our rig. Don’t get me wrong, I love out fury little friends. I just feel you need to practice what you preach. If you are not going to keep your dog leashed, don’t expect me to.

Boondocking available on large grassy area with some trees. Easy access off I-90 but that means you have traffic noise through the evening. Staff was friendly. We did not use any of the facilitator amenities.
