We had never been to Oregon and pulled into town at 11:30 pm...we have three kids so we were desperate to find hook-ups after 12 hours of driving and a place to park for some sleep. My husband needed to work (via wifi) the next morning, and the KOA was the closest part to town (he heads to the local coffee shops to work) so we went with the KOA in Klamath Falls. It's only about one mile from "town" and we plan to visit Crater Lake (which is one hour away).

The campsite is just ok. We pulled in late...and there was a map, but the spots weren't clearly marked for hook-ups on the map...so we ended up driving the park and hopping out checking which hook-ups were where. (some don't have sewer, etc) Not super convenient....seems easy enough for them to mark their map. Also, wifi was SUPER important for us (so my husband can log into work first thing in the morning, and for home school for the kids)...but no wifi info was given with our check-in packet. We were up at 630am, the office opened at 8, and we were at their mercy until then. They told me I had to come to the office to get a "voucher" to use the wifi...then when we tried to use it on more than one device, we called again and were told we needed one for each device (one for each phone or laptop, etc). Again...it worked out but not super convenient.

The grounds are not bad actually and have a cute little stream with a bridge running through the tent sites (and a few partial hook-up sites). Great for kids to play. They also have a playground. There is a small triangle spot (maybe 10x10) for dogs as well. We didn't bring a dog, but I noticed a little fenced area.

It's been ok for a stop-over but we've seen much better-kept KOA's on our trips. The three stars are being given for the stream, big trees and basic amenities. No one is going above and beyond here...but it's not horrible.

Sites are decent with picnic tables and a little bit of grass between each spot. Worked fine for an overnight stop. Hosts are friendly and helpful. We tried to stop at Crater Lake but the National Parks are still closed.

Nothing special here. This KOA is a small park in a mostly quiet neighborhood near some shopping and dining. Easy enough to get in and out and we had decent Verizon and AT&T. Seemed like a lot of folks were just passing through like us. Not really a destination kind of park.

We had a site in the back with no sewer. Still we paid $42 with out KOA discount. The sites were on the small side too, though long enough for our motorhome and toad. I'm sure we could have found a better park if we planned on staying in the area but this KOA was a block out of our way and we could make the reservation online. Winner!

Basically a dirt parking lot with narrow strips of grass between sites. They do sell gas and propane. They keep a very bright flood light on all night, which illuminates the entire Rv park, so black-out curtains are helpful. Considerable traffic noise. Sewer hook-up for your neighbor’s RV is Located fairly close to your picnic bench, so that’s a bit unappetizing. The operators are very nice. Useful as an overnight stop, but not a vacation spot.

Agree with most of the comments made previously. It’s essentially a gravel pad with a small grass strip. The site we were put is close together to our neighbors. Their slide out was in our site bench. Hoook-ups are essentially in your neighbors space which is not cool. The staff are a bunch of high school kids who are tremendously helpful. Seriously they are great and willing to lend a hand.

This KOA has its own gas pumps! That’s was very convenient for pulling out with topped tanks.

All I really care about is the cell service and plugging into shore power. All the reviews say there’s three bars of T-Mobile and Verizon but there’s not. There’s one bar of Verizon. I’m gonna try to work with it but it’s really put a kink in my plans since I can’t refund and go somewhere else.

Maybe not the most picturesque campground but it was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The sites were nice, the pool was inviting, the store was well stocked.

Most of the previous reviews nailed it; ok for one night but that's about it. It could be so much more. Accessing this RV park and maneuvering through it with a 40' motorhome and toad was a stressful hassle for me, so in the future I will find better options.

Pros:
- Good 50 Amp power.

- Well litter or verflowing trash cans.

- Nice, clean, small swimming pool.

- My site had a nice concrete slab with picnic bench, umbrella, and a few nice plants.

- Beautiful big trees throughout the park, yet nothing intrusive to scrape an rv roof or sides.

Cons:
- The park is in a tight residential area with a relatively tight entrance. When I reached it with my 40' motorhome and toad, a large travel trailer blocked the entrance. Shasta Way is a busy 2-lane road that's tight for larger motorhomes, with no options to pull over and wait, or other parking areas, My only option was to take a long drive around the block and return in a few minutes, hoping the entrance was opened up, which it was.

- I was provided spot 28, which offered pull-thru space, which I prefer. As always I did a quick walk to see what was ahead, and things looked mighty tight indeed. Spot 28 would be much easier to access if I simply pulled in, from the southeast. The KOA employee who was to guide me to the site said that I could only pull into the site one way, from the northwest, which in this case involved a very tight u-turn, keeping in mind I had a toad that i did not wish to disconnect. Parking in the site 28 from the southeast would have been DRAMATICALLY easier, but the employee told me that doing so was prohibited, the owners lived onsite and would request I move, and to top it off the employee said he would be "written up" if he allowed me to park in the opposite direction in site 28. The customer is not king here.

- Highway 39 is adjacent to the park, so expect road noise. An RV air conditioner is effective white noise.

I came here as sort of a Plan C when two other stops didn’t pan out. I’d read the previous reviews, which gave me some pause, but under the circumstances, water and electricity were my main priorities.

While I cannot deny or minimize the other reviews, what I can say is that if you have an AT&T phone, it’s four bars. I am working and streaming the news about the Royal succession in the UK. There is also park WiFi.

Also, I can confirm how most of the long pull-thru sites are packed in like horse stalls in a barn. It’s right over there, and they’re mostly full. But if you’re in a tent or a truck camper or a Class B van less than about 28 ft, I have good news!

Along the east side of the park, adjacent to a small brook, there are seven tent sites and four back-in RV sites with water and power (61,63,66,68). These are wide and grassy and shady, and really quite lovely.

Stayed here beginning of Oct 2022. Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP

THE GOOD
Staff: Nice folks and very helpful. Had to change our booking while there and they were easy to work with.
Location: Lots within about an hour to explore.
Location: Within 5-10 minutes of groceries, gas, and restaurants.
Sites: Organized sites with clear markers to indicate the space. Gravel spot with grass living area.
The grounds: Clean KOA.
Office/Store: The store has anything you might need from basic groceries to gifts.
Tent Sites: We did not have a tent site, but did notice they were quite large and nice.

THE BAD
Sites: Really tight spots.

COULD BE BETTER (just worth noting):
Location: The immediate surrounding area is not anything pretty. No bad. Just not a peaceful setting.
Checkin: The checkin area is a bit of a cluster because folks area pulling in while the propane always had a couple of people waiting in their cars. Not enough space for all of it at once.
