Great place to stay while traveling through on I-81. Easy on & off the highway. Stayed 1 night each of 2 stays. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our walks around the small campground. Sites are level and clean. Gravel roads. Some have picnic tables. No reservations taken. Call ahead on day of your arrival. Recommend a call in the morning if you want to stop here for the night so you don’t lose opportunity. We wanted to stay here in the spring but called too late in the day. Traffic passing on Route 11 is only noise we’ve heard. Good Sam discount.

We are traveling fromTexas to PA and we’re tired of Walmart parking lots. So for a change we stayed here. It’s a nice campground and conveniently located a few miles off 81. Gravel drive and sites but big enough for our 40 ft Phaeton. Somewhat steep grade to our site but we made it. Small campground and water pressure was a bit weak. Cell service was adequate. Great rate at $37 for the night.

this is a potentially nice campground with problems.
1. Too close to a very noisy road with the valley funnelling the noise into the campground
2. I've twice been put into the same site with major light and noise issues at night. Light is from an adjacent storage facility. Noise (in addition to the road) is from a gravel road beside the storage facility
3. Utilities have had problems
4. Some of the sites seem to be permanently closed probably due to having utility issues

I love this campsite. I've stayed here two separate times now, each for 2 nights and each time the staff has been welcoming and informative. The sites are clean and level, with easy access for small or big rigs. They are located right off a main hwy which makes for easy access, but does have some road noise (which I do not mind), and right on a beautiful river with trees. Mot sites offer a picnic table and fire ring, along with electrics and water (year round), and some sites have sewer hook ups.

Bathroom/showers are clean and well maintained.

They offer propane, RV storage, and a decent sized general RV store on site.

My rig: 26 Ft travel trailer w/ F150

Friendly, helpful staff from the nice lady at the counter who I paid for my site to the guy in the RV supply part of the store. There are sites along a lovely creek, a newer bathhouse with restrooms and showers. I did not explore a lot because it had just rained and was muddy outside of the graveled sites. My site was right next to the road so was a little noisy. I would definitely stay again.

Not a destination campground, but very convenient for overnights. Our site was level so we didn’t have to unhitch, which is always nice. That looked to be true of most sites. Staff were friendly and restrooms were clean. We didn’t check out the laundry. Sites up on the hill (21-30 and 40-47) look to be long term. I gave 3 stars for access because some of the roads (gravel) through the campground are steep and we had to negotiate some rather significant ruts. However the two big piles of gravel would suggest those ruts are scheduled to be fixed. No privacy, but we were creek side, which we enjoyed. They don’t take reservations more than 24 hours out and your site is assigned when you check in. Campground WiFi was excellent in our site.

Because we asked for a full hook-up, we were given a back-in site that needed us to shoe-horn into one of the tightest rv sites imaginable. We felt like we were camping in a Walmart parking lot.

To be fair, the owner had a better site in mind for us, but we wanted the full hook-up. The owner was very friendly and courteous.

Outside our little bit of crammed rv real estate, the campground is nice. Other sites were much more spacious and had some tall trees. There was a nice creek that ran through the grounds.

There is a good deal of road noise from the nearby highway.

This is conveniently located off of 81 and they have a store of every RV part you could ever imagine needing and more. The staff is super friendly and helped us trouble shoot some issues we’ve been having with being unable to refill our propane tank.

But the spots are all haphazard and on top of each other, despite having a creek run through the campground non of the spots really have a yard or space to hang out outside. From the spot we were given we opened our door into the road that led to the handful of tent campsites.

AT&T would bounce between super fast and not working despite showing 3-4 bars at all times- it’s possible I was being deprioritized. We were only there to sleep and move on in the morning so it wasn’t a problem for us

Was given a pull through site. The pull through sites are like a gravel parking lot with hook ups. Level but just not very nice. Electric worked fine. WiFi was okay.

This place is so much better than most campgrounds we’ve stayed at. We’ve traveled cross the country from CT. The camp store has many things you would ever need-equipment and supplies. Bath house is clean and nice. We had a treed site near a creek. Nicest pull through we’ve seen, not right next to your neighbor. Had picnic table on grass. Many campgrounds don’t have that. Convenient location. People were helpful and pleasant. The campground’s is in tiers but each site appears to be level.
