I've really enjoyed being here. It's off season now in October so I used Passport America for 7 days. I wasn't anticipating so much rain, but am not complaining as the area needs it. PPA rate does not include the few "ocean view" sites however, I can see a bit of ocean from my site and when the ocean view sites are not filled, I get a pretty good view of the ocean and some large rocks. The ocean is my favorite thing about this park.

I took a peek at the shower and it smelled of cleaner. It looked ok. Bathroom ok too. Very friendly and helpful reception and hosts. I feel very comfortable here. It's mostly dirt and grass sites. Lots of bushes and trees. My Verizon MIFI has been working sporadically. The campground's WIFI has been fast and reliable however, I'm told it can slow down considerably if a lot of folks are on it. I would have not stayed so long if I hadn't been able to use their WIFI. Cable is included and since I haven't seen any TV in months, I've been enjoying being able to use it as it's been so rainy this week.

Seal Rock doesn't have much in the way of a "town" but Newport about 20 minutes north of it has a Fred Meyers grocery, Starbucks and even an Organic co-op which was nice. South of here is a town with a smaller footprint than Newport but larger than Seal Rock.

Make sure you come in by way of Cross road where the entrance is and not on Seal Rock Rd.

We used passport america and the pricing was something you could not say no to. We chose a spot that was their lowest spot on the totem pole and I was very happy with it. We weren't supposed to have a view and right out our door was a view of the ocean. The spots are private with high hedges and a separate fire pit/picnic table area. We have a 30' fifth wheel and we still had room for our truck as well. The park was quiet and they had multiple hosts to help and they also had a self check in if the office isn't open. There are not a lot of amenities to this place, but we liked the location to seal rock and newport. The beach across the street (be careful, as it is busy and there is no cross walk) was quiet and it was perfect for the dogs because as soon as you make your way down, the beach is surrounded by the cliffs. I would stay here peak or off season as I really liked the feel of the park and the private spots.

Cell service isn't the best here, as well as their wifi, so if that is a must this isn't the place. If you are looking for quiet and beautiful this is the place. Although, I can't vouch for the weather. We lucked out and it was sunny at the end of October.

This tiny private campground is quirky, but in a good way. Friendly staff, well maintained grounds, and the best part, you're never more than 100 yards away from the beach at Seal Rock Cove, which is a world-class beach all by itself.

Although the tiny town of Seal Rock itself has precious little to offer, its location right between Newport (north) and Wadport or Yachats (south) is perfect. When staying at Seal Rock, it's all about the day trips to the many state parks in the region — and then upon return to the campground, spending long summer evenings on the Seal Rock beach itself watching the sun set.

Cell coverage weak to nonexistent, but the campground wifi although not fast was reliable and workable.

An overnight stop for us on the way north. Easy to find, plenty of room to maneuver. Easy little walk to the beach. Others have commented on the highway noise. We didn't notice it. The only "downside" I had was that the pull through site we were in had an uphill turn to it at the end, requiring me to unhook to get the trailer level. Not enough of a downside to make me lower the rating, but worth mentioning. We wouldn't make this a destination, but would certainly stop again when traveling up or down the coast. Internet/wifi was usable. Better than our cell phone hotspots.

Just 11 south of Newport is the small community of Seal Rock, OR. This little park is perched above a beautiful beach with easy access. From our site, we can see the ocean waves and rocks. I was told that there was no satellite or cell service, particularly in our site that has trees, but we had no problem with our dish finding the right satellite and our cell service with ATT was good. FHU; showers; picnic tables, dirt pad, not level. The staff is friendly and helpful. A hidden jewel! Gave 3 stars for access as we had to use 4-wheel drive to back into our spot. Other sites are easier to get into. Ony noise is from the ocean waves. can't get better than that!

Awesome views of the ocean and Seal Rock, we arrived during CV-19 and everything was over the phone and no contact with employees. We went straight to our site and it was level and surrounded by 10 brush, so your privacy is awesome. The only issues are, no laundry, zero internet and cell service is 1 bar, so if none of those matter. I would have given it a 5, so management if you read this. Please upgrade your internet service.

Last minute decision to stay here and could only get one night. Had a partial view of the ocean and the site wAs great. Very wide and could easily fit 28 TT and truck alongside. Full hookup was flawless. Nice path to cross road and walk down to beautiful beach. Newport was 20 min away and has great seafood.

My site was well thought out with nice privacy bushes between sites and a slope that allowed us a view. Did not hear any road noise at night - only the ocean.

Don’t expect it to be warm in this area.

This place is a gem.

Had rented beach homes in the area years ago. Still a nice area, and a clean uncrowded beach, even on the weekend. Access is easy, however with no crosswalk, timing is everything, and you must be able to navigate a few steps down to the beach after crossing. They're in good condition, and the longest stretch has a stable steel handrail. Plenty of our fellow seniors had no issues making the trek.

Most sites are roomy and private enough. Plenty of room to maneuver at most sites.Big Rig sites will handle coach and toad or tow vehicle. Most of the FW's stayed hooked up if they wanted to.We only saw one toad in the overflow lot the entire stay.

Right off Hwy 101, so road noise during the day.We were within 100' feet of the road at our site and weren't bothered at any time, but if you're looking for quiet solitude, this isn't where you want to be. ( nor would most places along a major highway be of course) We didn't tow on this trip, so other than one dog walk a day to the beach, we were in our site full-time. Quiet between 10:PM-6:AM. Most of the few walk-able businesses remain closed.
WiFi and cell were nominal.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice website park map with pics and info that are pretty true to what you get, and helpful for site selection.

Full hookups at a wonderful quiet park. The walk to the beach was short and the views were amazing! The sites are huge and well taken care of. I would stay here again. The wifi was good!

Rate reflects the weekly rate paid in a “regular” site. They have three pricing categories and we chose the least expensive. Still had an amazing ocean view. The park is right on US 101 but highway noise was never an issue. Our site was very easy to access, the interior roads had just enough space to get our rig backed into our site easily. Our site was nice and level on a gravel pad that was wide enough that we didn’t have to walk in any mud. We got crappy service from our AT&T phones but our T-Mobile Hotspot worked like a charm. The park WIFI was basic. Got all the major Portland TV stations with our OTA antenna which had a nicer picture than the park cable. All transactions with the office were done over the phone and email, a truly non contact experience. Bathrooms were closed due to Covid so be sure you are self contained. Also no laundry facilities in the park but plenty nearby. What made this park 5 star for me is the location. You are right across the highway from a beautiful beach with super easy access. We had an amazing view of the ocean from our site. You are also close to some very nice towns. The largest town is Newport, home of the world headquarters of the world famous Rogue Brewery. Newport is about 10 miles to the north and has big grocery stores, a Walmart, and tons of stuff to do. There is a small town of Seal Rock with some very basic services (coffee house, mexican food stand, convenience store, art galleries), There are also a couple towns to the south, Waldport (5 miles) with few restaurants, a mid sized grocery store, laundry, fuel, etc. Yachats is about 13 miles south and has a more upscale feel with great eats and shops, and is also the gateway to Cape Perpetua which has great hiking and a breathtaking stretch of natural coastal wonders. I could go on and on about the area. Seal Rocks RV Cove is a great option for exploring, a true hidden gem of a park!
