Many sites on the water. Some sites are small, so read the info on the web site for larger campers. Cell service is weak, but wifi is available at camp check in. Road noise can be a bit annoying during high traffic times. Watch for local raccoons invading your camp site!

So we were here for a short stay... It was the 2nd time using my pop up and I have been itching to go since my first trip... Anyways, this trip was amazing. The site we were at was right by the water, within a stone throws distance... and the site was well maintained... The next day the MIDNR was there looks like doing maintenance. The only downfall was the number of people that were there because this camp ground is not the biggest... I will be back here as soon as spots open up... Most likely in the cooler months.

We stayed near the old river channel to avoid the wind off the bay. It wasn't windy, but the site was nice. Some sites are small and sandy. Restrooms were clean and well kept. The campground was very quiet at night. Sites nearer the road seemed to have a lot of road noise.

The campground is nice and quiet. Some hilly sites and many sandy sites. Restrooms need updating. The hiking trails near the campground are decent The beach area is very nice, including being able to take the dog there, except for the designated swim area. The only negative is lousy phone service and I had tv service for part of the day of arrival and nothing after that.
