“A Classic American Diner.”
A Classic American Diner. The Aviation themed menu includes our own: "Flying Fortress", a stacked high club sandwich, the "Tail Gunner" a generous sized Chiliburger, Steak, Seafood, Fresh Garden Salads, the "Lacey Lady" a Grilled Turkey Sandwich, Home-Made soup daily, Biscuits & Gravy, Fresh Grilled Hashbrowns & Chicken Fried Steak. The Bomber Restaurant has earned a reputation for being one of the best breakfast spots around - served 6:am to 1:45 daily. Call ahead for a "Heads up" on groups of 10 or more.
This has already been known as one famous place to gas up. Just imagine having your tank refilled under the wing of a plane! Now, how cool is that? Also a great stop for those who want to grab some lunch while on the road.
Classic American food at a unique location. Formerly The Bomber gas station, it still has the WWII plane that made it famous. Now, a restaurant and The Wings of Freedom showcase. Live music offerings from '50's style to blues; call for information and scheduling.
Man, until just recently this was just about the coolest diner anywhere - with a B17 bomber up on stilts out front! You could drive right under it. A crying shame they took it away, but it's still a solid local diner and worth a stop.
