No showers since they r being refurbished, but that wasn't an issue for us. Going to kings canyon np tomorrow, they let u keep ur rig for the day without charging extra which is nice. If I'm ever coming through again i would stay again.

Just to clarify there are two adjacent properties, Sequoia RV Park for short term stays and Kings Canyon Mobile home park for longer term. We stayed in the Sequoia RV Park. This was a wonderful place for our large family of 8. Lots of grassy space for kids to play right by our site. The pond was a big hit with our budding naturalists - tadpoles, big bullfrogs, and lots of waterfowl. It’s 19 mi from Kings Canyon Park entrance, which was treat because it was dry and sunny when the park was wet and rainy. WiFi worked pretty well except during peak hours from 8-10pm Laundry room was great. Very impressed with responsiveness of management who love in the park (site 71). Bathroom was pretty clean but the key code sometimes didnt work. FYI we learned to park into the site backwards because the hookups were on the opposite side

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Located across the street from a National Park ranger station so you can plan your trip. You have the site until 6 pm

We booked this last minute as a place to stay on Friday and Saturday night during our 10 days inside Sequoia.
We did 5 days dry at Big Meadow, then 2 nights here - SEQUOIA RV PARK ( to dump, get water and long showers), then another 3 nights at Princess (dry camp - also in the National Forest)
The place looked REAL TIRED when we drove in. Someone else mentioned grassy areas and a pond in their review. ALL of the grass was dead, and the "pond" was just a big dry hole.
That being said, this park had everything we needed.
Water and sewer... perfect!
Power... Pulled up the cover, and it looked like it had been rebuilt the day before. Everything was new. Voltages were perfect!!! When I mentioned it to the manger, he was quite proud. Apparently it was his handy work. Nice Job!
They are extremely losey-goosey. When you arrive, even if you prepay, you fill out a registration, put it in the box, then just pick the spot you want. I figured since I pre-paid, they might have something assigned and I might mess up the system. Not likely. There is no system. Don't let this scare you away from this place, just remember my note and reduce your anxiety.
BTW - My wife knows I do reviews and she wanted me to know the laundry room was very clean.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. We have a very late check in and it was no problem. This was the last RV park before you get to the National Parks. It took about 30 mins to get to Kings Canyon and the drive was beautiful. Bathrooms were very very clean and conveniently located. However, we did not sure the showers while we were there so I cannot speak to that. The host and the owners were some of the nicest we have experienced and free fire wood is provided! We will definitely stay there again.

Price reflects 'Stay/pay for 6, get 7th free" discount for back-in, fairly level, gravel FHU site. We visited both national parks from here so it was a good 'base.' Check in was easy since we had already reserved/paid online. There are overnight sites near the front of the campground, some better than others. Ours near the entrance was big, even an extra drive way to park our car, but noisier with folks coming and going. Many people 'live' here in some pretty run down rigs. Traffic noise on the road was negligible but early morning and late afternoon with people coming/going from work and kids coming/going from school got irritating. (Next time we'll choose a site further back.) Laundry was clean but inadequate for the park: 2 washers and 1 dryer (other one was out of order.) Wi-fi was sufficient only for email, but AT&T and Verizon had ample signals. Host was friendly. We'd stay here again if visiting the parks.

Our family stayed here on our way to visit Kings Canyon National Park. Called ahead and received friendly welcome and information from one of the owners, Luz. Upon arrival, Carlos, the other owner, welcomed me personally and demonstrated the hook up for my husband and offered us our choice of several open sites.
We barely saw anyone of heard anything during our stay. It was private and allowed us to relax.
Ample room to walk our dog.
We didn’t use restrooms or showers so I can’t comment on those.
Free WiFi. My son was able to do his remote drum lesson thanks to the internet access and convenient work table near the router.
Highly recommend!

We stayed here one night on our way to visit Kings Canyon National Park. We called ahead for availability and spoke to Luz who was very friendly and informative. When asked how late we could check in she started to just call when we arrived as they would be available. When we arrivaed Carlos and Luz gave us a friendly welcome and showed us the available sites.
When enjoyed a very quiet night and woke up in the morning to local geese flying over and some turkeys passing through.
We will definitely return.

We stayed here two nights while exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Had high expectations after reading the glowing reviews here and they were exceeded by Carlos and Luz's hospitality. The location is the best you could ask for in terms of proximity to the Big Stump entrance of the parks. It was nice to pick out our own spot from the available "short term" sites. Ended up next to the road but heard no noise at all - it's not heavily trafficked, especially at night. Bought tons of camp wood from Carlos and loved sitting by the fire each night after hiking all day. Can't wait to come back! Only thing to note is that there aren't many places up get food nearby, only two restaurants and one gas station. Pizza place was good!

On our first visit to California, we were concerned about finding a campsite convenient to Sequoia NP. All of the places we looked at were booked solid except this one, which I can't figure out. It's a pretty basic RV park with all the amenities. The hosts are the nicest people you'll meet - very friendly and helpful with getting us settled. I didn't have a gray water hose to flush my black tank, but they loaned me one. Despite having an advance reservation, it was pick-your-own-spot. With the challenges we had reserving a campsite, we thought there would be few remaining, but we had lots of choices. As others have noted, the front sites are near the paved road so you get some road noise, but it's not heavily trafficked, so not that big a deal. Also agree that the laundry facility is undersized - one of our goals was to do several loads after a week of boondocking, but there were only 2 machines and they were in use.
