“nestled on Bear Creek”

We are a 5 star facility nestled on Bear Creek in the little town of Phoenix, Oregon in the heart of the beautiful Rogue Valley. Three miles south of Medford, "The Center of It All" and seven miles north of Ashland, home of the famous Shakespeare Festival and beautiful Lithia Park, Holiday RV Park is an excellent home base for sightseeing in the area. We are conveniently located right off I-5, but set back enough so highway noise is buffered.

We stayed here in Dec 2020 on a rainy night. The staff was very friendly. We pretty much got the last spot in the whole place. Although it is right next to a highway, there is just enough of a break from adjacent buildings and the "clubhouse" to provide a sound barrier. I cannot truly speak to the experience of the amenities as we never used them. Seemed quaint and inviting. The sites were OK, but ours flooded easily that evening, completely submerging our sewer line by morning. The sites are mostly gravel from what I recall. Overall, the price was high for winter. If we needed a place on our way to and from, this is good for a one-nighter.

When we arrived we were forced to go indoors to check in and staff had no masks on but kept one on the counter. Halfway through indoor check in process she realized and put her mask on. Friendly enough this place is fine for a night. Nothing much around but spaces by the creek are peaceful. Would hope during covid can could figure out online or phone check in since being indoors and without a mask is dangerous.

We stayed here September 11 - 15, 2021. Easy access. Close to freeway but not noisy at our site. Next to Bear Creek.

Staff do not wear masks. We protected ourselves as much as possible.

Laundry facilities older but in good working condition and reasonable prices. Did not use restrooms or showers or pool.

Bring long sewer hoses. Sewer connection nearer to forward end of site. Had to move our rig ahead for connection.

Friendly neighbors. Lots of full time residents from last year’s fires.

This is an older park with quite a few full-timers. Right off i-5 but not a huge amount of traffic noise that we noticed being on the creek, the farthest row away. Very nice management. Sites are a little tight but for a one night stand, no complaints. Good rates, which are net of Good Sam and AAA. We'd come back here.

This park is easy to get to and was what we needed for an overnight stay. Management was very friendly and helpful when e were concerned about some low branches in our assigned spot. It is well kept and quiet even though it’s near the freeway.
