This resort was AMAZING!! If you want to RV in style, this is the place for you. It is expensive, but worth every penny. In addition to the nightly (or weekly rate) there is a $10/night resort fee.
Outdoor Resorts is a place where people purchase a lot and live in their RV - most of them from Canada and the western US who winter here. During the off season, many of them will rent their lots on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. We stayed for a week at the very end of the season. One owner said that about 40% of the owners had left by the time we were there.
The resort has 8 pools (two of which are large with hot tubs), tennis courts, an amazing fitness room, yoga during the week for $8, and the resort is large enough that if you want a good walk or run you don’t need to leave.
Owners were very friendly, spots were large (although we had to ask our neighbors to move their golf cart so we could have enough room to maneuver to get into our spot) and each spot has enough room to hang out side to grill and eat dinner.
Most people in the resort have their own golf carts to get around and the resort sits on a lovely golf course.
This is a great place to stay and would be a wonderful place to own.
You need to have your own wireless at your site (mifi or cell service) and the resort provides two hot spots for free wireless at each main pool.
Loved this place!

I agree with other reviews this is probably the nicest RV park I have ever experienced. This a condo style meaning owners buy the lot and then pay a steep HOA for the beautiful grounds and golf course that winds through the park. You can rent a space direct from owners or through the park itself but buyer beware there is a $20 a day resort fee and depending on the length of stay you may have to pay your electric as well. If you want internet at the site, you pay. Although they don't want rigs older than 15 years there are many owners that have equipment that is way older but all kept up nicely. Another thing to watch out for if you rent, ask if the owner is storing their stuff on the lot. Our lot was so full the patio area was basically useless which was very disappointing and I would have objected if staying longer. There are no park models here and I swear it is so quiet people must be whispering when they talk. There is distant traffic noise but not a factor in enjoying this magnificent facility. After staying recently in another park that was full of noisy (and nosy) people and side by sides this is heavenly.

I actually kinda hated the place at first with its daily trash pickup, manicured landscapes, clubhouses, tennis and pickle ball courts, lunch time bike-to-a-restaurant group, fitness centers, numerous pools and hot tubs but it really grew on me! Everyone is very friendly, even the grouchy looking folks 😆
It seemed too much for this boon-docker but it really was amazing and I really enjoyed meeting snow birds from all over Canada and the US.
The golf course isn’t just a pitch and putt for those doubters - the tiny greens make you dial in your game! I don’t know how the grounds crew does it, but the fairways and greens are immaculate and all the same grass. No invasive grass here… AT ALL. See Lou at the starter shed to get registered for the website to reserve tee times, or just call in, but definitely play some group games. So much fun!
On the downside, they’re a little fussy about dogs, but so many people have dogs I think I made more of it than it really was.
Ramon Road is a 50mph main thoroughfare and the loud motorcycles and fast cars are clearly heard night and day, but only on the section closer to the road.
It runs about $117 per night including the $20/day resort fee and the local 12% occupancy tax. Cheaper than a hotel and so much better!

Outdoor Resort Palm Springs is by far the nicest place we have ever camped. It is truly a resort experience. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately cared for. 27 holes of golf, all par 3 but still challenging. 1200 lots in the resort, all privately owned. Many owners rent their lots when they are not in town.
It is truly a resort, with eight pools, pickleball, courts, tennis courts, a gym, two clubhouses, bars, a restaurant, and on and on. There are also loads of activities available that anyone can participate in. There is a daily resort fee for non-owners. Laundry facilities are available on site in several locations. People at the resort are extremely friendly.
We have been coming to this place for more than 12 years. We love the resort. A friend came down to visit, and he loved it so much that -- although he has never even camped in a trailer before -- he bought a lot with an RV on it after visiting for just three days. It's an amazing vacation spot!
Lots at the extreme north end of the park get a bit of road noise, but the rest of the park is really quiet.

I know there is a big push among the owners to leave positive reviews to “up” their ratings and increase property values, so beware of false reviews. The place looks great, but the longer you are there you see things and hear things. Currently, the owners are complaining about deferred maintenance, rising HOA dues, anti lgbtq sentiment (in Palm Springs?), a current owner vs owners lawsuit, a lingering smell from the marijuana plant that hovers over the resort, and rat infestations that are destroying rv water and electrical lines. The resort is washing their hands of the issues. The place has no WiFi. The “Karen” mentality is strong. Make sure you follow the book of rules! Drinking to excess is prevalent. There is a class system between owners and renters. Renters are allowed to pay top dollar, but get less benefits. I was told the best time to come is the summer when less owners are in residence. Ramon Rd is very noisy.
