Description
May 25th, 2021: RVer report confirms report from Nov 2017. Overnight RV Parking is allowed. Permission from manager or staff on duty required; both reporting RVers say the staff here are helpful and welcoming. Lot is smaller than most Cracker Barrel lots, and the Bus/RV spaces are parallel to SE curb of lot, behind building, allowing for slideouts to extend over curb. Park in one of those marked /RV spaces behind store, or as directed by store. RVs that won't fit in those spaces may receive permission occupy two of them or may need to park RV in one of these spaces & then unhook toad or trailer. Small RVs that will fit in a single auto parking space may receive permission to do so. Lighted, appears level; likely noise from adjacent I-40. Appears safe. If you park overnight here, please purchase your evening meal and/or breakfast here. Contact Info: (615) 356-5229

Didn’t stay at CB, but parked overnight in the Walmart lot across the street. Safe and quite. Only downside is they are closed 11pm to 6am.
We called ahead & confirmed we could park overnight. Unlike some Cracker Barrel’s, there isn’t dedicated RV parking. We arrived around midnight so there wasn’t a problem finding a place to park. I mention this because if you pull out late in the morning when the restaurant has opened. it could be an issue getting out of the parking lot if you have a big RV. We left around 930 after a wonderful breakfast in Cracker Barrel. Someone parked right in front of us. Luckily no one was behind us so we had room to back up. There is a lot of road noise but we slept. Felt like a safe area.
Tried to arrive at 11pm to avoid crowds. Two tweakers a in parking lot and one at fwy exit. Used the parking lot to pick another place. In the three minutes I was there I had TWO separate tweakers walk up to my truck and rig. I pulled away from the first with no issue. Second tweaker followed me and opened my gas fill door. I yelled at him while leaving. He was 100% unaffected by my reaction.
We were in town last minute and alllllll of the RV parks were packed within a 40 minute radius of Nashville, so we had our first Cracker Barrel experience. It was nothing fancy and you can hear the highway, but we had 0 issues, and did call ahead to make sure it was cool to be there. They just asked that we parked on the side or in the back, and we had the space to ourselves all evening, plus a good little space to walk our pups. There are tons of resources in the area (Walmart/Target/Costco and lots of other stores) so it's a good place to reset if you're working through a long journey, too.
