A gem of a place to stay on the Rio Grande river. Friendly, helpful staff. Spotlessly clean facilities. Even covered wagons to stay in. The river and the birds were the best soundtrack!

Lovely, shady little park with frontage to the Gold Medal trout fishing waters of the Rio Grande. FHU RV sites plus brand new, (rather luxe!) covered wagon “cabins” . Bathhouse is nice, cleaned twice daily. South Fork is a great home base from which to drive the Silver Thread Scenic Byway through Creede to Lake City and beyond. Extraordinarily beautiful country.
