Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 21, 2021We tried calling twice looking for just an overnight stay and after no answer thought we would just drive by and check it out. DO NOT GO. It’s 2 miles off the highway on gravel roads and there is no place to turn around. It was terrifying and hilly and we really thought we were going to spin out. Now we have a very dirty rig and still no place to stay.

On our wat to Montana we stopped at Hanson Hills campground. The website looked nice enough but oh boy that road. Almost two miles of nasty dirt road, it had rained that day and by the time we got to the office our rigs were totally covered in mud. The pull through site was uneven, the water connection was a hose with a spigot sticking out of the ground, the wi-fi was unusable. So all in all just another disappointing campground. I would not suggest staying here under any circumstances.

This is a small campground on a hilltop that offers shady lots, a fishing pond, a small pool, wooded areas for hiking, some playground equipment, horseshoe pits and peace and quiet.
The electricity 30-50 and water was good. Not sure about the WIFI. I’m camping not working. I had 3 bars of 5G ATT. That will stream anything.
I was visiting family close by and stayed because of the location.
Yeah, the 1.5miles of gravel to get to it was dusty as all get out but drive slow. The road coming up the hill to the office is pretty bumpy. Take it easy and you’ll be fine. You can find faults in any campground. This is kind of a hillbilly resort but nice and peaceful.
If you’re a high maintenance camper you will probably be disappointed.
If you love trees and quiet time. You might want to consider this place.
