There wasn't a lot of grass. What the heck?
This is a nice place to camp. Very wooded and access to a lake. Our only issue was leveling. Most of the sites were highly sloped. We had to go down as far as the tongue jack would allow and were still not quite level. We saw many other campers with the same issue. Some sites were better than others and if it wasn’t so busy we would have moved spots. We stayed four nights in the first part of October 2018. When you arrive drive all the way through the campground and take the right road to loop around. This will take you to the marina and office for check-in. Most of the sites have electricity and water hook-up and there is a dump station on-site (it is by the marina). Even though it was busy over the weekend, the campground was quiet. We had a view of the lake too which was nice. We stayed here to visit friends in the area, but there is a lot to do here. There is a small beach for swimming and of course there is fishing and boating. Carbondale is nearby if you need groceries or anything else. Internet access was good. We had 4 bars 4G LTE with Verizon and 3 bars 4G LTE with AT&T. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we would stay here again.

I wasn't able to find the campground in the dark. Improved signage might help. I was coming down through Carbondale.
