We stayed in tent in May 2015. It was pretty muddy/damp that time of year as well as mosquitos. Most campsites are mostly at water level and right on the lake. We now have small RV, I think we could get that in pretty easily.
Long, windy road to get out here - but once you do! Such a beautiful place! The lake is clear and calm, we kayaked a little and want to do more exploring, didn't even get to hike around the lake. There is boat launch as well.
When we were there, real toilets weren't open, but there were pit toilets. Bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the actual campground and there are no showers.

That being said, we've never had a problem finding a site here. There's only a handful of them, and either we've been lucky or not a lot of people are willing to make the drive. There's another campground about a mile or two away, but that was closed when we visited. Once here, you have a spacious site, quiet (depending on the other campers), and you're surrounded by nature. These sites are primitive, and the sites we have chosen are mostly level. Most of them are for small trailers or tents. Don't come here with your luxury Allegro bus.
There was a torrential downpour one night, which almost flooded our site, but there were some next to Lake Ozette that were completely submerged. You've been warned.
There's a restroom nearby that is clean, but I don't think there are showers. It's also close to the trailhead for the awesome 9 mile Ozette Loop. DO hike this loop. It's wonderful. 3 miles through dense forest, 3 on the coast, and 3 back. Check out the Petroglyphs on the coast! On the trail are some primitive tent camping spots both in the forest and on the beach.
Wildlife is everywhere! Deer, Bald eagles, birds of all sorts. On the coast you have seals, crabs, starfish, more bald eagles, more deer.
Also, we didn't have service out here with the WeBoost booster off. With it on, we had 1 bar of Verizon 4G sporadically.
If you decide to hike on the Ozette Loop, be prepared for the interesting smell of decomposing seaweed on the coast!

We didn’t get to stay since it was all full. It seemed small rig capable and plenty tent spots. It’s a 30 min drive down to it and we ended up staying at another campground on that road called Lost Resort ($25 per night). It was better than driving 30 min back to the main road to maybe find another campsite somewhere else.

We arrived at Ozette Campground 11 am Thursday and the campground was almost empty. We chose site 5 that has a view of the lake. We stayed at the exact same site 4 years ago (August 2019). Last time we were here we didn't have an RV and camped in a tent. The walk to the restrooms was about 5 minutes. Now that we have a motorhome we don't have to take the walk to the restrooms.
We kayaked in Ozette Lake Thursday afternoon and hiked Ozette Triangle Friday. And we went home Saturday. We enjoyed our stay in this remote campground.
We have a verizon phone and T-mobile phones. Both signals were weak but with WeBoost signal booster we got 2 to 3 bars and we were able to make use of our signal although the data speed was rather slow.
We paid $10 per night with our Senior Pass 50% discount.

Great Location For Hiking Out To Alava On The Coast.
Excellent location with lush greens all around, amenities are basic and toilets are a bit of a walk away but you'll likely not spend a lot of time there if you're planning on doing the Ozette Loop hike.
