Not many RVs here this week so very quiet. On outskirts of Joplin but has gas stations and fast food across road. Newer washers and dryers $2. Lots all seem level and are dirt/gravel with grass in between. Nivea fenced dog area with small pond next to it. Mostly pull through sites some with or without trees. Wifi was okay. Didn't check out showers so no comment.

Easy to get to, gas stations close by to fill up. Right next to freeway, yes heard traffic all night. Sites were not level. However we did like their electric box, water and sewer were all together, nice. WiFi, was terrible. No recycling.

Convenient to interstate, stayed in section with shade trees as it was July. Good access to fast food restaurants across the street and easy to get gas. Arrived at different dates without reservations with no problems. Short, short hiking trails for the dogs plus a dog park. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I usually just use this for a overnight or two so haven't really explored Joplin but it is a good overnight stay from the interstate. I didn't hear any highway noise but I usually sleep with fans.

Stopped here on the way back to Texas along I-44. Nice spots with power, water, and sewage. Free WiFi available. Propane available. Dog park and duck ponds in the camp are very nice. Located close to gas stations and a few food places nearby. A little noisy with I-44 close by but not bad.

We stayed one night while passing through. The couple in the office were so friendly. The sites are level and spread apart. There is a fishing pond where the kids caught sunfish and large catfish. There is also a duck pond with mammoth size catfish. The office has free fish food. You have to try feeding the catfish!

Never in my life have I been treated so rudely by a hospitality host. Motorhome was parked in the driveway so I took our second vehicle around back to look for a spot to check in. The only clearly marked parking spot said "Parking for KOA golf carts only". I thought I'd be there 10 min tops. Out saunters an unkept man wearing a yellow shirt. "You can't park there." and strolls off. Did he offer another spot? No. I had to again search for an available spot and ASK HIM if I could park there. Sure. Done.
Enter the office and the lady there was pretty curt when I told her how shocked I was that I was treated so rudely, and she was just as snarky as her husband, the owner. Wow.
He showed up to escort us to the spot. He told me that there's a water pipe there under that spot and heavy weight would hurt it. Well, why didn't you say so and be a little more pleasant about it? I was still pretty ticked and was ready to leave when he told me. "You need to leave. I don't want you here. And I wasn't rude, you'd KNOW if you had some of my attitude." Yikes. OK Billy Bob.
I called and asked for a credit to my account and in a snarky voice the wife said, "It's all ready been done."
OK what happened here? This is a KOA and I had stayed in several through out the southwest and they were delightful. But this hillbilly couple couldn't bring it upon themselves to receive their guests in a positive manner. Look at the reviews. Can you tell me that NO ONE has stayed here since 2019?

A convenient overnight stop. Typical near-highway KOA facility. Nothing special. Some highway noise so if you are sensitive to this you might consider someplace else. Verizon and T- Mobile were fast enough to stream HD video. Staff was friendly but this is the first campground we have stayed in over the past year were the staff were not wearing masks.

The young lady at the check-in desk was very nice. Our site was PT & FHUs. We did not have any rigs next to us so we had room to breathe! They had a lot of amenities but we were exhausted from a day of driving so we stayed in our rig and rested until it was time to meet up with friends for dinner in Joblin. We ate at Wilder’s Steakhouse and it was delicious! When we arrived back at the RV park we were given a show, of lightning! Me being from Southern California where we don’t get much of that there I just loved it!! Stood outside at least for 30 mins if not longer just enjoying the show and the cooler temperatures the storm brought.

Passing through, east off/on. Site was level and clean. Easy to navigate. Power and water was good. Had enough shade, lots had good spacing. Helpful staff. We camped at Joplin KOA Journey in a Motorhome.
