We stayed at Yknot 5 nights! Very peaceful except for the occasional train in the middle of the night. Well maintained and grassy sites- No tables or fire pits which wasn’t a big deal for us. Newer section is poorly designed with hookups at the end of the sights and small trees that prevent use of awning when back far enough to reach. We couldn’t reach sewer with two hoses. Stayed there one night then moved to the older section which is super nice with mature trees which provide nice shade. We visited Shoshone falls and Three island state park!

We followed our GPS plus there is great signage leading you to the Y Knot Winery, which is the same route to go to Three Island Crossing State Park. The state park is adjacent to the winery campground (CG). You first come to the older CG across from the winery building, which is better suited for smaller rigs. We were in the newer CG a little further up the road in pull-through site 26 with FHUs. As we had a reservation with an assigned site number, we went straight to our site, set up, and then walked back over to the winery to register. The sites have an interesting layout as they are long, yet the front and back of site not really defined. You have to adjust your rig on the gravel pad to fit your rig to the utilities towards the back of the site. You then ensure that either side of your rig isn’t too far on the gravel road. The CG is bare bones with no picnic tables, fire pits, nor WiFi (saw a review for $6 Wifi but didn’t see any networks in the new area). It was no issue for us as we were enjoying the winery and golf course. Since the CG is new, the trees have not matured and you have no problem with satellite. We got one bar on Verizon. Their water pressure is high so you will need a reducer. We got an end cap site and enjoyed the large yard. The CG info states there’s a pet area, but there’s no sign or fenced in area. The pet area is a grassy area along the golf course side of the CG according to the map. There was no road noise, but there was a distant train or two during the night. There’s a lot to like about this CG: nice sites, wine tasting, decent food, and a fun golf course.

We loved the place ! Very good Graveled park with each a little grass strip or yard. After being in the desert for so long our dog just loved the grass ! Not very busy, quiet and pretty. The office was a little hard to find, It is the winery across the street. Will come back again ! internet was spotty at best, bring your SKY LINK. I did not have one, but went to Boise and picked one up at Best Buy.

I am a little hesitant to share this gem...this is our secret spot. Small RV park directly across from the winery. Lots of mature trees, grass for the dogs and wide spots. There is golf here too and the river is nearby. We have been here 3 times and will continue to come!

I have to agree about being tempted to keep quiet about this place but in the interest of weary road travelers...
The CG is across the road from a beautiful winery (with a restaurant that we did not try) about 6-10 minutes from I-84. Sites have small grass lots at each with FHU but no fire ring or tables. Nice large trees but I don't think there would be a lot of privacy if there had been people next to us. We were only able to stay for 2 nights because the entire CG was booked for a wedding on the w/e so it's a good idea to call ahead for reservations. They'll give you the site number and then after parking you go across the road to the winery to pay. There are no bathrooms but there is a ports potty. No showers. The CG is right on a golf course-for campers and the sprinklers ran all night which had the effect of cooling off what was already a cool night.Nice for sleeping and I imagine even nicer on hotter nights. There are train tracks on the other side of the golf course (maybe 1000 ft) and there is some train noise but it did not wake us. Or pets were welcome but be careful of burrs from some of the weeds. It seems they mow pretty frequently so there are bus in the walkways. There's a walking/bike trail that runs around the CG which you can then ride down to the Three Island Crossing historical site (where there is an Oregon Trail info museum). This park also has camping but seems more expensive even for over 62.
All in all a really nice respite and someplace wed return to for longer if we weren't on our way south on a bit of a schedule.
There is also a dump station that is $5 for non-campers.
Good Verizon and ATT 4G (3 bars) There was a sign saying WiFi is available but we didn't use it.
Best sites: 6,7,9,12, 15 (pull thru) Sites 13 and 14 if both occupied) form a V with little privacy.

Full hookups just a few miles off I-84. We were the only ones here in March 2018. $35 a night not $25 as previously advertised. Nice little town for a stop over. State park is just a mile down the road.

There is a porta potty at the campground and no other facilities so you need to be self-contained. This is a good stop since it has full hookups and reasonable prices. If you look at their site map online, don't trust the lengths stated because they are not accurate. Pull in the campgorund and pick where you think you'll fit and then go to the office to check in and pay. When I stayed there was one other RV.
Nice trail connects the campground to the state park across the road.

At $35+tax one should expect a toilet. No wifi, no toilet, no sani dump. I picked up litter in our site once we settled in. The location is convenient and hook up is nice, but very noisy with jet fly over, trains and freeway noise. I can't say I wouldn't stay here again, but I was disappointed in the overall experience.

We enjoyed our stay in Glenns Ferry. Yes, there are no real facilities, but our class A has facilities. Yes, the site said 50 amp service but was only 30, but the weather was good and we didn't need 50 amp. We enjoyed the peace and quiet (I like trains), the friendly laid-back town, the big cottonwood trees and the $20 golf. When we left for Oregon I forgot to pick up my water pressure regulator; called the winery the next day and asked if they could hold it for me....no problem! I picked it up on my way back through a few weeks later. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but then most parks are in this part of the country.

PROS: A small campground with wide spots. Older mature trees.
CONS: We plugged in our Progressive’Ind. surge protector and tried turning on the A/C (near 100 degree temperatures) and we got a low voltage error and an over heat alarm on our inverter. So they sent Bob over. Bob didn’t bring any equipment to test the electricity. They gave us a new spot and same things happened. We called the office was told everything was our trailer our new trailer that was just at other parks with no issues. All the other campers are not using any surge protectors. So we opted not to use ours.
The staff has not been helpful.
Since 4:00 am we have had trains blowing horns through town.
