“open May thru October”
We are open from May 1 through October 15 each year and welcome all types of campers from tents to the largest motor homes. We even have a 20' trailer for rent so that you can stay with us even if you dont have an RV or a tent! We are located at the end of a gravel driveway, one mile inside an 8,000 acre cattle & timber ranch, 10 miles west of Lakeview off Hwy. 140 in south central Oregon. The resort sits at the edge of a juniper forest overlooking the 175 acre Junipers Reservoir and surrounding meadows. A large lawn and buildings are at the center of the oval shaped park with the generous sized camping sites angled along the outside edge to provide the best view. Tenters may erect their tents in a regular R.V. site or on a grassy meadow. Weather permiting, a small campfire may be permitted in the meadow.

Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on May 04, 2023Just 9 miles west of Hwy 395, this is a great RV park! Sites are long with pretty good spacing. Level, dirt sites with FHUs, either 30 or 50 amp. Large laundry, clean restrooms and showers. Horse shoe pit. Green area with volleyball net. Cottonwood trees give some shade, and we were able to pick up satellite. Big, starry skies while we were there. Views are amazing. Watch ranch hands work the cattle, hawk and coyote in the fields next to the park. Antelope and prairie dogs along the ranch road.
Slight ding is the one mile dirt road to the park. Very dusty but in good condition. All the lakes are gone in the area due to the drought, so no fishing. Even the reservoir is about a third of capacity. Not much in town, good size Safeway, one restaurant, one gas station, NAPA auto parts, hardware, pharmacy.
The park WiFi is very fast!

We have stayed here several times in the last few years. We make it our final stop before heading home from trips to Eastern Oregon, Utah, etc. Set in the middle of a working ranch, it is peaceful and quiet (so long as you appreciate the lowing of cattle). Beautiful views and sunsets. The people are friendly, the sites are large and easy to navigate and facilities clean and convenient.

As we pulled into the RV Park, a lady came out to our vehicle to meet us. Did everything while we were in the vehicle. A great way to start and it continued to be a wonderful experience.
We were not far but still some distance away from the club house, yet the WiFi was spot on. Got to enjoy our Netflix that night. Most RV parks we stay at give you a list of "Don't's", this one gave us a list of what to do and where to do it and how to go about it, and no codes to carry around. We will be sure to revisit this place often in our travels.

Stayed here one night in Sept 2019 on our way out of Oregon. Worth the 1 mile dirt road drive off the highway. Sits on a private 5000-acre cattle ranch which guests are free to walk or bike. Views of the surrounding countryside are gorgeous. Hosts were very welcoming. Our pull through site was level so we didn’t have to unhook. Quiet and restful stay!

To be clear, it’s 4.5 stars and the ONLY way that could be improved is with more space between sites or more privacy. That said, for a large CG with pull through sites, they’ve done an amazing job. All sites are around the perimeter, at least one mature tree for some shade, picnic tables, 20/30amp services. Each site looks out into native treed/grassland and is quite lovely. There’s a large (perfectly manicured) lawn and all the facilities in the center! It’s super peaceful, the grounds are meticulous, the bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve experienced yet and get this, the Wi-Fi actually works! On top of all that, the hosts are the nicest, most helpful people I’ve met in a ery long time. Robyn and Linn (sp?) have been incredibly helpful, kind and just all around nice. A welcome change. While I’m into more rustic camping, there’s little of that to be had in the immediate vicinity, the above reasons are why I am now staying a second night.

Was greeted at the entrance by the park manager and didn’t even have to get out of my rig. All sites are pull-through with plenty of length for the biggest rigs. Sites are all gravel, the only grass is in common areas of the park, and there isn’t much for providing privacy although trees between most sites provide some shady cover. There are lots of trails and gravel roads for hiking/biking and the owners allow exploration of all areas...my dog loved that! Cell service was good and WiFi was good and consistent. Nights were dark and quiet...except for the coyotes. Didn’t use facilities because of Covid but the rest of the park was immaculately maintained so I’d guess the facilities are too. Beautiful spot!

I was floored when we got here. I was really expecting a nice place. Very dusty & dirty. Very trailer park like. Staffer came to car to check us in but she was surly, uninformative and dismissive. Also no mask. Fortunately my husband wore his. Don’t be fooled by the website pic. There is no view of the water!

This RV park is located on a working ranch and was stunning and quiet. Staff was nice, spot was level with FHU 50 amp. There was no road noise. We stayed for 2 nights. Wish more ranchers would do this!

I liked this place. It is on a ranch and a mile off the highway. The gravel road is not a problem. Perfect weather and beautiful sky added to the experience.
