Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 22, 2022My wife and I came down from Nashville and absolutely love this location! It’s right next to a beautiful neighborhood called Twin Creek’s with very nice homes and a very new and nice marina. There were walking trails, access to the water and plenty of space for each site. The hookups were great. One thing to note: this was set up to pull in a Class A motor home, so you actually pull forward and then disconnect your truck. If you back in, your hookups will be on the opposite side. I’d love to have a membership pass here!

Extremely simple setup.
WATER HANDLE MUST GO ALL THE WAY UP. JUST A HEADS UP.
back row is slightly downhill to the right when you pull in, so make sure you hook up septic accordingly.

Neat and clean. Great restaurant with live music on Sat night (long wait for a table). Firepits by the lake with complementary firewood (no fires allowed at sites even with raised pit). Received up to 6mbps second campground wifi download and AT&T, and no upload speed on either. Couldn't reliably connect to Verizon.

We stayed a couple nights at Twin Creeks RV Park for the 4th of July fireworks. We were fortunate to get a lakefront site (#11) and had a beautiful view of the lake. Our site was level, and easy to set up. We just pulled our class C forward and had all the hookups on the driver side. The campsites are close to each other, with little or no shade. Our RV struggled to stay cool during the day, but nice and cool at night. The staff were very friendly, and did a daily garbage pickup every morning. The bathrooms were clean. We had our cable hooked up, but the screen said it could not receive a signal. I told the office staff that the cable cord probably needs to be replaced, but his response was that some sites work fine with cable-and some don’t. But we were able to stream television off their WIFI, so it worked out.
We enjoyed our steak dinner at the Drafts and Watercrafts Restaurant. The service was great and the band was so much fun! They had some great fireworks around 9:00, and they lasted until 9:30. It was a fun night. But a suggestion I have for the resort- We had to park at the remote lot and were given a shuttle ride to the restaurant. But afterwards we did not see anyone offering that service, so we just walked. We were fine, but anyone who isn’t able to walk that far- would need help.
Another suggestion I have for the resort, is to put in a pool in that big area in front of the Premium Lakefront sites. As hot as it was, a pool by the lake would have really been nice. We saw a pool at the village area, but we figured it was for the gated residents. We didn’t have a boat, and do not swim in the lake-so we were actually missing our neighborhood pool at home. Even if you have to charge for use, people who don’t have a boat would pay extra to cool off.
This is a nice resort, and we might come back in the fall. The lady told us it is beautiful up there in the fall. But keep in mind you have to walk down the hill to have a fire pit. Unlike most campgrounds, they do not have fire pits at each campsite. The restaurant is open April- October.
This place is a great spot to spend some time. Very nice RV resort with beautiful trails/paths to walk around and enjoy the nature. They also have a marina to launch a boat. We highly recommend a visit!
