Great RV park. Clean. Sites were nice and organized. Best place to stay for the Meteor Crater. If you stay there you will get 5 cents per gallon off your gas price.
This a a great little RV park. Well maintained, nice hot showers, great Wifi, friendly staff, would definitely stay here again. Free coffee in the AM too, easy on/off the 40.
Great park. Modern, well designed with shade. Prices more reasonable than a lot of parks in Southwest. Would stay again if I am closeby.
Stayed dry-camping for one night at 35
Late arrival easy as there are a gate at the side of the camp.
Clean and average camp.
Free morning coffee was a plus.

We were nervous, heading down I-40 through Winslow; cell signal was a no-go. But the closer we got to the middle-of-nowhere between Winslow and Flagstaff--Meteor Crater RV Park--the stronger the signal got. By the time we arrived, we were at 5 bars of LTE.
With some grassy areas and two large dog runs, there's plenty of space here to walk and get exercise. There's even a small jungle gym for the kids. The office has a gas station and basic amenities, and the sites are level and clean. No complaints on that front--every site even has a tree, a rarity for this part of the country.
The park itself is right off I-40, but you can't hear it at all from inside the rig. There are beautiful views of the mountains around Flagstaff to the west, framed by the sunset each night, and it's only one exit from one of the most fascinating ghost towns I've ever visited, Two Guns.
Winslow, itself, has some cute areas, and Homolovi State Park is very cool. It's also a reasonable day trip distance from Petrified Forest. Of course, Meteor Crater is worth a visit, too, if you can stomach the $18/adult admission rate ($16 if you stay in the park, woop woop). It's about a 15-20 minute drive to Winslow, the closest place to get groceries and other necessities.
All in all, it's a solid place to stay, if pricy, if you're aiming to explore the Winslow area.

The park does give Escapees discount (15%). Learned that Meteor Crater is privately owned and even with the $2/person discount from the park, it still would have been $28 for the two of us to go and stand on the walk in front of the visitors center and take pictures. We passed and will use that money for better activities.
Nicely laid out but over priced. And their fuel is also over priced. Don't know if they realize that by reducing costs just a little bit they could generate greater traffic and greater revenue. Right off of I-40 so lots of road noise and the train tracks are nearby - - but then again, it is an RV Park.

The place is all gravel but very clean. In fact they water down the roads regularly to keep dust down. Nice touch. Good water, electric, and sewer. Bathrooms are dated but very clean. Very friendly staff. Great place to stay to tour the crater or to just rest. Nice sized sites. Over priced for what it is but a great place to stay when touring the crater.
There is a fuel station right at the entrance which was handy. In fact I fueled while Diane checked in.

We got here right after the Albuquerque balloon festival apparently because it was in high demand! The front desk was slammed with people trying to get in for one night. Since we stayed for a week we realized no one stays very long there. We actually extended our stay because our spot was nice and wide and easy to get into and the staff was SUPER FRIENDLY!
They have 2 dog run areas that we were right by that other pups seemed to love. The whole area is gravel and has little stickers that kept getting stuck in my dogs paws. There is a nice soft grass area with bbq pits and seems great for a large group. Dogs are not aloud on the grass but we like to break rules. Poor guys toes! There isn't really shade to speak of but there are a few trees scattered throughout. Each spot has a picnic table and easy, close hook ups.
There is a gas station right at the front that you get a discount on for staying at the park. They also give you $2 off to see the crater. The store has a separate room with laundry, a big tv and couch, foosball table and movies to rent. We would stay here again if passing through. You do hear the train in the night but it's really not that bad.
They just updated there WiFi when we stayed so it was extremely fast and reliable!

This is a routine, KOA-style park. It doesn't do a lot to distinguish itself from many others, but it is perfectly fine. It is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have their own gas station.
The main draw is that it is close to the meteor crater, and it is perfectly acceptable for that.
The wi-fi was exceptionally fast, but we were there when it was cold, so there weren't many RVs there. Your results may differ if you go in the summer.
