Confirmed by 12 users | Last reported on November 19, 2023This park is actually a city park with a small RV camping area. There are 28 sites with W/E and 14 of those have both 30 and 50 amp. Most of the sites are pull through but there is a row of back ins with big shade trees. Sites are concrete pads and long enough for a 45 ft motorhome. There is no sewer hook up but there is a dump station. The park is unattended so there is a self pay station at the entrance. The park was very easy to access. There is an suspension bridge that takes you over to Ruby Park. The new Wichita Falls is locate in the park. There is a 72 hour limit for your stay. The sites have grass between. There are no picnic tables, fire rings, or restrooms.
This is no frills but easy to access and level spots. You are right near the road but since it was so hot we had to run our A/C and a fan so we didn't hear anything.

Easily accessible (right off I-44), clean and well-kept location right next to the Wichita River. Hiking trails leading right from the site to a big park with playgrounds across the river (not accessible if high water) and a few benches/tables with grills provide outdoor fun. Sites have either 30 or 50A depending where you are parked. Water at each spot, one central dump. Noise from the interstate is present but tolerable.

Easy to access. Clean. Some sites are drive through. All have w/e. not sure on 30/50amp ratio. Not a huge amount of shade. Seems safe and even though it's not far from a major road, the noise isn't too bad with a fan on. Not far walking distance from Lucy Park, about 10mins. Make sure you have $17 in cash, as you pay via an envelope system.

Could be an ok park but there were several (I counted 4) transients walking around after midnight looking for easy items to steal. It’s well lit, lots of other rigs around but they don’t care. I tripped my alarm warning when one of them went for my surge protector at the pedestal.
Too bad.
Nice easy location right off of the 44. Right next to the Wichita River and Falls (not falling at the time I was there unfortunately.)
Best advice is to go find another park that’s safe.

We wished we could’ve stayed longer to check out the trails and falls, but unfortunately were only able to stay 1 night.
Begging close to I-40 was a bit loud at times (or maybe I’m just super sensitive to noise since we travel with our 8 month old), and there were 2 trains that went by around 2 and 3 am.
We didn’t have any issues with things being stolen like previous poster warned about, but then again, we got there around midnight and only stayed until the next evening.
Cell service was fair-good, would stay again!

Covid visit. Nice and quiet (people wise) in the park. You are right next to a highway so you will hear highway noise. Clean and Nice size spots with electric and water. Grass area for pet. Nice park to walk in. Awesome swing bridge to explore.

This is a first come first served RV park on the side of a highway but sit down low enough to only hear it ever so often through the night. It is nice and clean with plenty of room to walk the dogs, picnic tables. With electric and water and dump station you can’t beat it for $17 a night.

RV Park is pretty and clean. Right on the river. There is a huge public park located across the river with easy access via a footbridge. Would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient to the highway with the downside being road noise. Was mostly drowned out with the air running. We weRe 1 of 2 in the park. Had a nice shady spot. A good stay when passing thru.

Has water and power. Great park across the river to walk in after a long drive. Trees and shade are wonderful when out in the heat. Road noise was not an issue due to the AC drowning the sound out. Concrete pads great place for the value.
