Cholla campground is the largest all-solar powered campground in the United States and is located on Theodore Roosevelt Lake (Arizona's largest lake). There is plenty to see and do here including fishing, boating, swimming, a variety of water sports, hiking, biking and many more outdoor recreational activities. The Cholla Recreation Site is located in the Tonto National Forest and includes almost 3 million acres of rugged and beautiful scenery ranging from desert to pine-forested mountains.
