This is a large park with the usual Yogi amenities but with the addition of a large water park type slide and pool. The park was clean and fairly well maintained. This is a nice park for families with kids but probably not for older retired folks. There was construction going on near us as they were adding some new cabins. Or site was a fairly level dirt pull thru with just enough room for our 40 ft motorhome and toad. Utilities worked well but WiFi was very slow. Our section was quiet with the exception of 4 wheeling off road ATV vehicles passing by our site continuously. Apparently there are off-road ATV trails on site and guests bring their ATV's to ride the trails. There are signs saying no ATV's except on trails but they were being used throughout the park and being driven by very young unsupervised children. This could be a problem during the summer season when the park is very crowded with campers and kids running around.
The park is in a pretty rural area with no activities nearby. The only local food was a McDonald's, Wendy's and a Denny's. Madison is about a 10 minute drive. Local residents are allowed to pay a daily fee to use the water slide and other amenities of the park.

We used to camp here a few years ago in the summer time when our kids were a little younger. We always had a blast and really love the water slide and lazy river. They also have lots of fun activities all the time in the summer. This time we were there for a Fulltime Families rally and we were so excited to return to one of our favorite Jellystone parks. It's not quite the same as being there in the summer since it was too chilly for the water park. However they promised they would open the water park for the rally and they kept their promise even though it was only in the 60s and the water was freezing. But you know kids and they don't care how cold it is so it looked like all the kids had a blast. The kids also enjoyed the bounce pad, playground and large field to play sports. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Verizon and AT&T worked well. We would love to come back again during warmer weather but now that we travel fulltime we aren't usually in Florida in the summer.

This campground is perfect for a family vacation. It's packed with fun stuff: a small water park, a lake full of floats, paddling boats, ATV trails around, gaga ball, bouncy houses, mini-golf... I've made a short video review: https://youtu.be/pLSJzUL-pns

Alot to do with the kids. Sites are located close together and noise during the weekend from all the ATVs is very noticable until around 10:30 p.m. Only 18 min from Madison Blue Spring State Park. Also during heavy rain flooding was an issue for allot of sites, but reseeded in about 2 hours. Hookups are not well placed and sewer openings are sometimes 6" above ground level. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the children.

I made our reservation in November. I called because there’s no online reservation system. I inquired about a specific rate, was told it was available, booked, and paid my deposit. A week later, I was called and informed that they could not honor that rate. I pushed back politely and was told I should receive a call from the manager. I received a new confirmation at a slightly higher rate and assumed all was resolved. When I arrived, I was charged $90/night. This is 30% higher than what I was quoted and an absolutely absurd amount to pay for what amounted to a “fine” campground. When I argued at check in, I was handed a business card with a number to call.
Our site was challenging to get into and exit. If the spots around us had been all occupied, I’m not sure we could have done it. The lake front sites also get muddy, so be careful getting too close to the water if you don’t have 4-wheel drive on I’m your tow vehicle.
The trees all around the campground are beautiful but many need a trim. Dead branches fell on campers when the wind picked up. The ATV trails seemed pretty nice. The play areas for kids were ok. The playgrounds and “water park” were outdated but kept up nicely as possible. No buildings seemed particularly safe in the event of severe weather.
The place was infested with caterpillars when we were here. They fell out of trees and onto us and all of our things. I’ve never seen so many caterpillars at once in my life.

Came here during Spring Break, March 2022. This place has it all, water slide, lazy river, ATV trails, fishing, mini-golf, basketball, jump houses, ice cream. And it doesn't end there. They had just ended a Full-Time Families rally so there were families and kids everywhere. Our kids found so many others to play with and were out late at the gaga ball pits till after dark having a blast. We stayed in a pull-thru area but discovered some cool shaded more secluded sites in the back of the park and near the lake. Lots of trails to ride ATVs or ebikes back in the woods. Its a pretty large campground. If you want a lot of activity options without having to leave the RV park, this is your place.

We had a great experience camping at Ragans Family Campground in Madison Florida. Easy to access off the I-10 and we heard no road noise. The site we had was lovely; shady and level gravel site and a nice size. The water slide, lazy River area was really fun for our 11 and 9 yr old grandkids. ( and us as well!) the staff was friendly and engaged with us and the kids. They offered other activities as well. It is an older park but they definitely are keeping up on it and every area we were in was clean and well maintained. It was a fun 2 night camping stop for us.

Most out dated park most of water park was closed parking was in dirt area full of bugs ants falling from the trees. Roads inside park need major repairs. People were rude as well. Was a jelly stone park now private property. Oh my site box broke when I opened it.
Site was pretty spacious but sewer was uphill making dumping difficult. They had a trick or treat event the night we were there which was enjoyable. The pools and playgrounds seemed pretty worn and not well maintained overall.
