There are restrooms, community water faucet, nice hiking trails, trash cans and picnic tables. Very lovely wooded setting! We only stopped one night while exploring the parkway, but would definitely return!

We agree with all the other reviews here and second the thought that this campground is better suited to smaller rigs. It's not because the sites aren't large enough or access is difficult, it's because they are very hard to get level in a larger rig.
We visited this campground on 03/15/19.

We pulled into the park about 1:00 pm on a Thursday and found only 3 sites filled. After reading all reviews of uneven sites, we grabbed the first site on the left where we were able to level for the night. A walk around the campground revealed about five sites that work with a longer rig. I think the magic is to get into the park earlier in the day and to avoid weekends. Verizon 3 bar w/o booster. This is a sweet campground on the Natchez Trace Pkwy.

We stayed here on our journey toward the southwest for the winter and really enjoyed this campground. Jeff Busby Campground and Park also features a few hiking trails up to a view point on Little Mountain which was great to do with the dogs.
The sites, as others have mentioned, are somewhat haphazardly placed, but each feature a lantern hook, trash can, bench, and either a grill or a fire ring. Unfortunately campers did leave trash thrown in the woods which was sad to see.
Be sure to bring your water and water reserves. This campground has a water spigot, but we noticed the park rangers locked it on our second day there even though there was no freezing in the forecast. Not sure what was up with that, but it thwarted our plans of using it.
Some of the sites are truly suited for small rigs and tent campers only, with others best suited for rigs 30+ feet.
We stayed in site #2 which we found was the most level, hand had the largest camping area.
The park is heavily wooded, we got some solar power with the abundant sunshine but being close to December, the sun was lower in the sky and was blocked by a lot of the trees.
Over all, a great place to camp for free for up to 14 days!

We found this to be a nice one night stop, would not recommend for too much longer than that. Sites for the most part are paved but not level and not numbered. We stayed at the first on the left. Although the highway is close to the campground you really don’t hear it at night. The water had a lock on it. We did find the beauty and quietness of the tall Pines. We also hiked the trail in the park which led to Little Mountain, and area that had very nice valley views.

Paved pull thrus. Sites are not marked and some have pads for multiple rvs. Decent bathrooms with flush toilets. There is not a dump station at the campground. A road runs to the top of Little Mountain with a nice overlook area. There a bathrooms at the overlook. There is also a trail that runs from the campground to the overlook. We stayed at the first campsite on the left. We were able to find a spot that was level enough to leave our trailer hooked up. We have a 25 foot travel trailer

This was our second time to stay here. The first time we were tent camping and riding a motorcycle. This time we were pulling our 25 ft camper.
It’s a beautiful place with a nice hiking trail. It’s quiet, so a good rest is possible. Wouldn’t recommend long stays.
The sites are paved but not level. If you arrive after dark seeing the sites is very difficult, so arrive before dark.
We didn’t use their facilities, just boondocked for a night. We would boondock again here.

40' bus had no problems in *most* of the 18 sites. SEE PIC OF CAMPGROUND MAP. I'd like to expand on the haphazard placement of the sites. There is no visible marking of sites (there's tiny remnants of numbers on lantern poles, if you squint). The ground was covered in pine needles and leaves, so the roads and sites were difficult to see, yes...but on top of this, there's some things goin' on here that we don't typically see. For example: The first pull-through on the right (sites 2,4) could park 4 motorhomes, easily. But there's only 2 picnic tables (which is the most identifying way to differentiate sites). Unfortunately, we saw site 4 get overlooked often because site 2 is on the same pull through. So beware, it's only a pull-through if occupied by one party. If another camper comes from the back side to use the other picnic table- its now 2 back-in sites. There's more. The second pull-through on the left (sites 3,5,7) has 2 veins that lead off the main road. One is an inner pull through and one is an outer. The outer has access to 3 sites with 3 picnic tables etc. But if you don't need any of that, a pull-through site could be finagled out of the inner circle. This same story goes for the last 3 sites (16,17,18).
During our quiet 6 day stay we noticed some trends. This is mostly an overnight layover campground. People start to arrive around 3pm and continue into the dark. By mid morning everyone has left. We were here mid October and never saw all of the sites full. The draw back could be that the bathrooms were closed (covid). The highlights: The hiking trail was easy enough for our 5 year old, it's free, garbage cans at every site, water spigot near bathrooms, mostly clean looking- in a 'not abandoned' kind of way, had great cell service, saw a park ranger 3 of the 6 days, easy in/out access to the Trace, well shaded/wooded, roads are all paved, as a momma- I felt safe here.
Other notable observations: people dump their dogs along the trace. (apparently cats too). The rangers told us this is common. We came across 5 stray dogs and 2 cats in 6 days. Sadly, they were collarless and really sweet. Ranger intervened.
There's no lighting on roadways or in campground. The picnic grounds were closed (covid) but the additional grounds gave us more places to adventure/walk. This campground is a mix of tents & RV's. With no hookups, this means RV's run generators.
In summary, we're shocked that this place isn't packed all the time. WE RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND OVER ROCKY SPRINGS! (also on the Trace) (see our review for that too).
