This campground is far enough away from the highway to minimize the road noise at night. All the sites are grass and back into the city park area from a gravel road. They defiantly slope to the back. We managed to snag a shaded site on the east side of the park. Lots of trains, but not at night. The restrooms were fairly clean but the showers seemed a little suspect. The dump station is next to the restrooms and pay box. We had no trouble using it. I would definitely stop here again for an overnight. ATT cell service was great. When I called/emailed to ask if they had openings, I got a response quickly - on a Saturday!

Few parking spaces off the main road. A guy from the local diner came out to my RV to verbal abuse. I got gas and left this unfriendly place.

There are about 15 (maybe more) electric and water sites in the town park. Clean bathrooms with a nice hot shower. Plenty of picnic tables and community fire pits. There is also a dump station. Would definitely stay again!

This place is a gem! Right off highway 94 and the perfect spot to stop while transiting through the state. $15 (RV/Van) $10 (tent) includes electrical hookup, potable water, flush toilets, shower, dump station, fire pits, grills and picnic tables. I will say the shower was a little sketch but after five days on the road, does it matter? Payment is cash or check in a drop box. Full Verizon service. Since this is located in a park, there is a playground and basketball court on site. This lot doesn’t offer privacy but it’s perfect for exposing your solar panels. Highly recommended!

This local park isn’t fancy but it is well maintained. It has dozens of electrical hookups plus water surrounding a large park with lots of picnic tables, shaded pavilions and mature shade trees. Envelopes for self-registration and pay box at bathhouse. I didn’t use the restroom or shower so can’t comment on those. This park is easy access to I 94. Everything you need for a quiet overnight in the summer. I would definitely use it again.

I was a little skeptical when I first arrived, but upon further inspection found a well-tended city park with all the amenities. There was 20,30 and 50 amp service at most of the sites as well as potable water. The dump station is by the restrooms, which were free and clean. I met the park board president who was doing maintenance and addressed an issue promptly, and was very friendly and helpful.
There wasn’t a scenic view but beauty is often in the eye of the beholder. This is a great place for safe and cheap overnight.
I was here Friday and Saturday night in Mid-August- not busy at all. Don’t pay online because they charge too many fees
