beautiful views of the La Sal Mountains and it’s close to many hiking trails. There are flush toilets, running water, picnic tables and grills. Some of the camp sites are nestled in the slickrock and others are out in the open with expansive views. Cell service is spotty so expect to be unplugged most of the time.

The campground is 18 miles inside the park so you are a good 30-45 minute drive from the town of Moab and any concessions. Plan wisely. This campground fills up fast and spots are reservation only from March through October. If you come after October be sure to get to the visitor center early and stand in line for a spot. The park will still be busy in November.

Devils Garden Campground is the only RV accessible campground in Arches National Park. It is all the way at the end of the main park road. This is nice because you are so deep into the park, but it makes the things closer to the entrance a bit of a drive to get to. The pull offs along the road are for the most part, smaller RV and Trailer friendly, but we opted to go straight to camp and then come back and check out the various spots.

Most of the sites in the campground appeared fairly small. Be sure to check the reservation site for the size of the individual sites. If possible I would book in the circle and not along the road. Site 46 was huge and gave us a lot of space to stretch out. This is dry camping at its best. So dry that some (a lot) will go home with you. It has been 6 months since we were there and we are still finding red sand in our rig. We loved staying in this park. We felt we were right in the middle of it all and that was an awesome feeling.

There was a dish-washing station on-site and dumpsters for trash. There was also a restroom but we didn't use them.

We stayed here in late April. Weather was great but a bit on the windy side. Wearing a lite jacket seemed to resolve that though.

No cell service...

I was lucky to find a site to reserve in December for March 2015. This campground is apparently "famous" and books incredibly fast. I suggest visiting the park website to reserve your site the day it opens for reservations- sites book 4 months ahead.
Our campsite was nestled between pinon trees and some great bouldering rocks. The noise level was a bit elevated but that was due to family groups and being fully booked. Everyone took care to observe quiet hours.

The ground was paved at each site and we had plenty of room for our tiny car. The only thing I regret is only finding 1 night available for reservation. Moab has so much to do and this campground is so beautiful it's worth a multiple day trip.
March nights are COLD but a 20 degree bag will keep you warm- cooking in the morning was the hard part.

Booked way ahead for a June spot. Unfortunately we arrived during a heat wave. But we toughed it out and hiked in the early morning and a little at dusk. The upside of the weather was that the campground - despite being booked the whole time we were there - was only about half full after all.

Site was fabulous. Rock formations IN our campsite! Kids were blown away. Short walk to one of the large arches. The group camps looked amazing, and the sites down at the turnaround may have had a bit more shade. But we were ecstatic. Really, we've never been anywhere like this and it was quite beautiful and alien all at the same time.

Be warned: no cell coverage and the drive is quite a ways in to the park, so prepare with water and supplies in Moab before you drive in. Wonderful free "water from the heavens" at the local outdoor store (can't remember the name).

Arches is such a fabulous NP! This is a really cool campground right in the red rocks. Great for exploring with kids.

We noted sites 18, 20, and 21 as being the best views. Oddly, our site (#4) was on the road, not a pull in, so we couldn't put our slide out. I booked online with my annual pass for a discount, then had a bill for an extra $50 when we arrived. Amazing star gazing.

Unfortunately the weather was really bad during our stay. Lots of wind and blowing sand did not agree with our kids. Some of the tent sites looked like they could flood.

Moab, the nearby town, looks to be in serious decline.

I've stayed at Devil's Garden Campground several times, in various sites. It's absolutely stunning and most sites offer a fair amount of privacy. The campground is located far from the main highway, which is a plus in my opinion. The camp hosts and rangers do a great job, as the place was always well-maintained and peaceful. There are several hikes nearby, including the namesake Devil's Garden. Depending on the time of year, the rangers host informative shows in the amphitheater in the evenings - they do a fantastic job! And the views...wow, just WOW! Book early, as the sites usually fill up during the first month of availability.

This is one of the prettiest campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Beautiful red rock formations, trails just outside your tent. It is always full and very crowded but the sites are well separated and you get some privacy. I switched sites 4 times in 5 days to check out different views. The first night I arrived they were full but the hosts let me park in the group area and set up my tent in the group site along with several other tent campers. There were also a few RVs and a skoolie parked here for the night. It was noisy, but the next few nights in my own spots were quiet. Get up early and hike the trails branching out from the campground for quiet desert sunrise (and sunset) views. Magical. As others have mentioned it is quite a drive to the campground from the entrance to the park. So if, like me, you arrive at sunset and find the campground full, you are not going to be happy. Camp hosts are nice and will try to accommodate but there is only so much they can do I am sure. So.. that being said, do your shopping etc before heading into the park so that you dont have to make a 40 mile round trip to Moab because you forgot to buy milk or propane. :)

We’ve been coming to Moab for over 25 years but usually stay at Dead Horse for cooler temps and good cell service. Thanks to wandering labs, we were able to score this spot for sunday they tuesday. I didn’t think we’d be getting cell service, so was planning to take the day off, but might work now for a few hours since it’s going to be very blustery tomorrow. Nice to have options. There are only a few sites that will fit our 37’ rig, but 23 & 24 have amazing views of the La Sal mountains. 24 is a back in but could easily be pulled in and what a view out of the front window. 23 is a pull thru and we had to put the passenger whells off pavement to feel comfortable extending the driver side slides. Great hikes from the campground and surrounded by red rocks with mtn views. Campground is a little tight for a big rig and the water bars really tipped the duallys, but well worth it. And all new paved roads for this year. I just wish they would have put bike lanes on both sides of the road to make it safer for bikes and get people out of their cars.

I think the sites at the top of the hill can get much better cell service. My Iphone X is getting between 3bars of 3g and 1 bar of lte, but put it in the Wilson Sleek and 2solid bars of LTE. We also have a mimo raspberry pi setup that is getting about the same.

Will definitely try to get back here soon to break up the dead horse stays.

The campground has been repaved this past year. Some sites are back in, a few are pull through away from the road, and other pull overs are right on the road. We had a pull through that had a bit of vegetation that separated us from the road. We were at the height of land, which means you can have lots of wind, which is a plus and a minus. We also had views to the south and north. If you have a tent you may want to pick a site with a low number or a very high numbers, so you are nestled down in the rocks more. I would say sites 17 - 21 are at the highest point of land. There are no RV dump, hookups, or showers. Water is limited and you can't fill an rv tank, so come with water. Maverick Gas in Moab provides free water and dumping. The bathrooms are clean and basic. The generator hours are long to us. We were near someone with a loud generator which made it hard to sit out and enjoy the scenery. Otherwise it can be a very quiet campground. Try to exit or enter the park early in the morning or later in the afternoon. You can wait up to an hour or more to get through the gate. Remember the campground is 17 miles from the entrance, but near Landscape Arch and a couple of others on the same trail, Fiery Furnace (you need a permit or go with a ranger - make reservation way ahead), and a trail to arches that are in the campground. Delicate Arch can be very crowded, so go very early or late.

We stayed 4 nights from June 10 - June 14 and enjoyed every minute of our time. There is several trails to arches from the campground and you are only a short drive or bike ride to the parking areas of others. I would highly recommend getting out early to enjoy the arches before the crowds and the heat. Even though it was early June, the temps were already hitting upper 90's. The only reason I didn't rate the campground a 5 star is the distance from the entrance and to the town of Moab. It's 18 miles to the entrance of the park and 23 miles to the heart of Moab. So plan on having plenty of supplies before you setup camp.
