We came through the area in very early spring when all of the nearby National Forest campgrounds and Mazama in the National Parl were closed for the Winter and this was just about our only option. We later figured out that we probably could have just found a National Forest road and pulled off for some "dispersed camping," but if you need hookups, this is a great option.
Across the highway, a 1.5 mile drive or bike ride takes you past some greet views of the Rogue River and down to Mill Creek and Barr Creek Falls which are very nice. Park wifi was decent but no cell reception.

We stayed for five nights while exploring Crater Lake and the surrounding area (it's a 40 minute drive to the Crater Lake visitors center). Our site was extremely long (probably could have parked two big motorhomes in it) but not very wide / not much camping space. Fortunately there was no one next to us so we had plenty of room. The park is heavily wooded and rustic feeling. There's a nice trail leading out of the park that we could walk our dogs on (in addition to walking them through the park) which goes to the nearby dam/reservoir. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no AT&T or Verizon cell reception, even with our booster. The office has a stronger booster on a very tall pole which you can use if needed. The WiFi worked quite well (streaming movies is not allowed), but it's worth noting the park was about half empty when we stayed. The biggest drawback (apart from the lack of cell signal) is the noise from the highway. Our site backed up to the highway so we heard very loud trucks going by all day. Fortunately at night the highway was mostly quiet. We were also surprised (and disappointed) with an extra fee when checking in. When reserving, the web site listed the rate as $28.50 (for 2-6 nights) and said "all sites have full hook-ups with 20, 30 & 50 amp service". When we checked in, we saw an extra $3 per night added to our bill for 50 amp service. There's also a per-dog fee but that was listed on the web site.

We stayed here 2 weeks so apparently liked it enough. It has positives and negatives. The hosts are very nice, friendly and helpful. It is centrally located to many visitor attractions. We stayed in two different sites. In one, we could fit the motorhome in but had to jockey the car around to avoid blocking the site next to us. It was not very level. The second site was much longer and more suited to a large motorhome. The interior roads are narrow so be careful with larger units. The Wi-FI didn't work at either site. (Hint: The library just across the street has WI-FI. You can sit in your car, inside the library, or outside at a table. It worked great.) Due to trees, our satellite did not work. We could use our Verizon phones if we sat right by the office. The strangest thing was how the computer did the billing especially if you extended your stay. I couldn't determine by looking at the receipts if I was charged correctly. I verified the price by checking my account once we left. If we needed hookups, we would stay here again.

We LOVED Crater Lake RV Park... it's absolutely gorgeous and extremely reasonable price-wise. The sites were flat, long and very spacious. The hookups were excellent - the water was a little on the hard side but it tasted delicious. The entire park is set within a mature pine forest and each site is surrounded by towering evergreens. Best thing of all is they give you a couple pages of maps of all the things to see in the area... gorges, waterfalls, hiking... all absolutely worth the trip and all within a 10-60 minutes drive.
The WiFi is infuriating. Even when we could connect - which wasn't often - there was so little bandwidth left over that no internet pages or emails would fully load. A few other campers with boosters said is was a little better, but not much. Data connection via AT&T was non-existent as well, so we basically spent 7 days in the park completely disconnected. That's ok, we didn't come here for the WiFi so we didn't expect much to begin with.
One other note: The pull-thrus I saw weren't particularly level. They were fine for 5th wheels, but the larger Class-A's we saw trying to park in them had a heck of a time leveling... most had to lift their front end completely off the ground. They have plenty of long back-in spots for bigger rigs that are much more level, so don't automatically ask for a pull-thru.
Even with all the minor annoyances, Crater Lake RV Park is one of the sweetest parks we've even been in. We'd loved to come back many, many times, and can't wait until we have the chance to do so.

Spacious spots that fit big rigs & tow vehicles. It’s a small park, but very clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We don’t have cell signal here, but the camp WiFi has been excellent (we’re in work zoom calls all day and had zero issues). Really lovely campground, and we’re sad to leave this weekend.

We were greeted with smiles and escorted to our spot. Clean and well spaced, with full hookups. We paid a little extra to have 50 amp, but it was very affordably priced. They do a sliding scale, so the longer you stay, the less you pay per night.
We had absolutely no signal, but the wifi was excellent!!
We would definitely stay here again.

Owners and camp hosts were terrific. Saturday morning they offered fresh baked muffins and coffee. Saturday evening live music and hotdogs around the campfire! Campsites are big rig friendly and some with satellite service. Highly recommend this for your base camp to Crater Lake. Lots to do in the area.
