We were surprised at how clean and nice this park was! Great gravel roads & spots with picnic tables and A-frame table pavilions. If all the spots were full, it'd be a bit crowded but we didn't have anyone on either side of us.

They also have a great little club/laundry house. Laundry was $1.00 per wash and $.25/ 12 minutes on the dryer. We also pulled a puzzle out of their giant stack and spent an hour putting it together as a family.

If we needed to overnight again in town, we'd definitely stay here again!

the first park we pulled into on an overnighter headed to Tucson was a bit rundown, so we have the Magic Circle a try.

Friendlier staff you won't find. The sites were easy to pull through, full hookups, and the park's wifi was good.

We refilled our propane, the owner chatted me up about trees and irrigation, good talking to him and his wife. The hum of the highway didn't bother us one bit, but our neighbor said it kept her up all night.

Wish I had a better story, but we were just trying to be close enough to Tucson to get to Gilbert Ray in time to snag a spot.

Stayed last week in Sept. Our RV was to long for Bonita State park. Lots of construction going on. Owners great. Once remodel is done this KOA will be very nice. Like all KOA's close to highway so a bit noisy. Gravel, pull through sites. Hope they keep the wagon and ponies in the playground. Will stay again

We originally had another camground booked in Wilcox as I didn't find this one listed online, but as we drove into town I saw signs so I checked it out online and quickly changed our reservation. This campground purchased by KOA about 18 months ago, and Joe one of the Franchise owners was a previous contractor and has done a great done sprucing up the place. We had about the best camping experience one could possibly have at a KOA. The hook up connections included 30 & 50 amp, and were easily accessed, there were two sewer dumps at each site to suite your RV needs, and the water pressure was plentiful. And the park is blanketed in high speed WiFi, backed up by fiber optic to their ISP. They had a heated pool, and nice hot tub (which was wonderful after hiking the Chiricahau National Monument), immaculate laundry room, and nicely stocked store. In the morning you can have a nice breakfast cooked for you at the RoadRunner Cafe. While we were enjoying our breakfast the Owner Joe sat down with a map of the area and made some recommendations for us to do some hiking at places we would never have known about not being local.
The only downside of this park was some road noise from being close to the i10.

We stayed here while visiting Chiricahua National Monument and Fort Bowie Historical site. Nice clean campground and they have a good restaurant on site with delivery to your site also available. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Only drawbacks were road noise and price, seems all KOAs are somewhat higher priced than I would normally pay.

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVED this campground. The amenities and how well it is run by the friendly staff cannot be beat. Mountain View’s from all sides and good size spaces along with the fastest WiFi we have had yet! Yes you are by the highway, however we barely noticed it after a night or two. Also being by the highway allowed us to explore Tombstone, Corodano National Forest and the MANY wineries of Willcox. Great for a stop over as many people did but high suggest staying a few days and checking out the area!

I might have overlooked this place since it's really close to the highway, but boy would I have been missing out.

Pro's:
* SUPER Friendly
* Level Sites
* Great (and I mean great) WiFi
* Gorgeous views from all directions
* Restaurant On-Site
* Super Clean
* Did I mention Friendly, SUPER friendly!!!!!!

Con's:
* It's a KOA and I'm sure if it's super-busy and you have bad neighbors that you will have a bad time.
* There is some highway noise, but I was in site 1 and it was completely manageable.

The hosts are nice and love to talk. The entire campground is stone not sure how this Koa was awarded as a holiday as it is more a journey to me.

I recommend you NOT purchase food for dinner like we did! Too expensive for everything they have which isn’t that many options

We stayed at the Willcox KOA for six nights. The park is well-maintained, sites are large and the staff is very friendly. The wifi is the best we have ever had in an RV park, the cafe was great, and the store well-stocked. We did not use the pool or hot tub. The park is convenient to the many wineries and Chiricahua National Monument (not to be missed). We also did a day trip to historic Bisbee - about 1.5 hours away. The only downside is the traffic noise, but it didn't bother us and they do offer free ear plugs.

fter a visually stimulating 280 mile drive, we have arrived at our home for the evening. Unfortunately for our boys, it’s another all gravel location however other than that, it is a solid 9/10 (-1 for the gravel). And I’ll get right to it: this is the home of the Herculean Hamsters! Never have I seen 50 Mb down at any hotel, let alone RV park - until today. There is smoke coming out of my computer, my mouse jumped into Max’s water bowl and I’m missing the fingerprint on one of my thumbs. 🔥🔥

The majority of sites are FH pull through with two sewer hookups, cable (these folks even have terminators on the coax to keep db loss to a minimum at the empty slips.) 45+ channels including TCM and did I mention SMOKIN’ internet? AT&T is two bars but who cares with 🔥🔥? The facilities are well kept and very clean and water pressure in the showers is strong. (After seeing the park showers we decided to splurge with unlimited water in a much larger space than our onboard setup.)

The staff is friendly and available, check-in was quick and easy and there is an on-site cafe serving all day, with chicken fried steak available all day (as well as Bluebell ice cream). Definitely a be-back place for us!
Loved the changing desert views, changing from sand and scrub to rocks and cactus, all the while with mountains and mile-long trains in the background. Diane took lots of pix which she will post. Also loved the THIRTY degree drop in temperature from last night to now; it’s a comfy 82 inside and outside and our A/C will not be running tonight.

NOTE: It is next to I-10 and depending on the slip you get it can be noisy.

We were in a 28' Class C towing a VW Beetle

Edit #1: The food at the “KOA Kafe” was delicious, especially the jalapeño corn and the Hatch Mac n Cheese!
