New park, new infrastructure so everything worked well. No shade, but it's so windy in that party of the country that it's probably hard to get them to grown. No picnic tables, small dumpster. No management on site. Call to pay with CC or put your CASH payment in a lock box. The person on the phone was friendly and helpful. All the sites are in-line pull-through, not the typical angled layout, with gravel roads and sites, and grass patches on the door side of your RV. Site spacing was above average. Did not have to detach the Jeep, and I didn't consider it to be tight to exit with my 38' rig plus toad. Wifi and water pressure were average. Would stay there again.
Date of stay was August 2017. $35 for 30 amp and $40-$45 for 50 amp if I recall correctly. This is a basic, no-frills RV park and a bit overpriced as such but is clean and maintained. The park is a grid of pull-through sites surrounded by pretty much nothing but flat grasslands outside of Clayton. It is self-pay and the owner swings by to check on payments. We talked to him and he was super nice. He refunded us from the 50 amp rate to the 30 amp rate when we explained how we realized we could easily get by on 30 amp due to moderate temperatures. Verizon worked fine and road noise wasn't too bad despite being on a highway. There are train tracks on the other side of the highway, but I don't recall ever hearing a train. Our sewer dump was fairly high off the ground, but other than that, no complaints.

This was our first night camping in our new trailer and it was a perfect location to try everything for the first time. The spaces were large and super easy to get into and out of. Easy self-serve cash payment system. Great wifi, clean RV park.
The only drawback were the trains passing through at night.

This is a simple, clean, small campground with pull-through sites. Easy in and out. Sites are gravel and level. We are in a travel trailer but it can easily accept big rigs. Full hook ups. There is green grass for pets, which is a rare find out here! We were very happy to find this gem and will certainly stay again. Wifi was great.

Right off the main road, but hardly any road noise as we stayed at the very back spot. The owner was extremely responsive when we were communicating with him on the way to Clayton from Ft Worth. Price was great for 50 amp, 30 amp is on $35. It is an honor system but we never even thought about taking the lower rate. It is very simple park with level gravel sites. Will definitely make this a regular stop for us as we go from Colorado to Texas each year.

This park is perfect for an overnight stay. It's doesn't have any amenities, but it's clean, level, easy in and out and full hookup. We made a reservation, but it's on the honor system to pull an envelope and pay. If there were spots, you could pull in anytime and spend the night. It really is the perfect park when you just need off the road for a little bit of rest.

This is our second time staying here making the trek out west. The sites are spacious, easy pull thrus, level, packed in clean gravel. We have kiddos and there’s plenty of space for them to run off some energy, check out the cows across the way and watch the train roll by. We had a very restful couple of nights. We would drive out of the way to make this an overnight stop!

Each pull-thru site had a nice patch of green grass. Level sites. Not a lot of amenities but perfect for an overnight stay.

Level, pull thru, and WiFi that worked good. No amenities but super clean and more space than some RV parks. Definitely will stay again.
