Awesome campground!!! Caring owners/operators - go out of their way to make sure you and your family feel right at home! Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!
This place is great! Owners were really nice, the campground was super clean, and all the sites were shady. We are sad we only had one night to spend there.
We stayed mid march 2017. Park was very clean and well kept. Bathhouse was also very clean. The folks that worked there were very helpful and told us many good hiking trails and sites to go see in the national forest. Easy drive to Gatlinburg also. We had a late winter storm come through and had snow for 2 days it was great. Love the area.

Smokey Bear RV Park has 49 back in sites with gravel pads that are pretty level. There are 9 pull throughs also. All are full hook ups with satallite TV and great WIFI. The owners are awesome, friendly and very helpful. The park is a little tight but we have been in worse. All sites have fire rings, picnic bench and lawns on some. Plenty to do in the area in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the smokies. Hiking, biking, shopping & Dollywood not far away. Enjoy. #themorgansonthemove

We stayed for 3 nights in late Oct. Check-in was easy at the office. The owners and staff are quite friendly and talkative. The park seems well maintained. It is clean and neat.
We were on a workcation. Wi-Fi bandwidth was poor from late afternoon through late evening.
Also we had a site that backs up to the main road. It was quite busy and noisy.
So with all that said, we would stay here again if we could get a site away from the road and quality internet is not really needed. Verizon signal strength was OK most of the time.
Discount for cash.
Firewood $5 and ice $3 are available on site.

The pull through site are not level. Side to side the are severe inclines so there is little room to exit. They charge extra for 50 amp. Even though there is cable it’s 10 channels and not digital. There are other closer to Gatlinburg. To me it is not worth the cost. It’s more of a 45-50$ campground. The office lady was nice. There are quite a few long term and there should be standards for these spaces. One had over a dozen empty propane tanks lying around. Just one example. Really takes away. Could be a quaint place.

People are super friendly, wifi is great, sites aren’t super level but it’s workable, and they are clean! Nights are quiet as well. I just wish there was better cel reception, but that isn’t the campgrounds fault.

This campsite was excellent! The staff is friendly and accommodating! I stayed in the very first pull through spot for 2 nights. The spot was right next to the highway, and road noise was LOUD. The park itself is quiet, but if you’re looking for a very quiet stay, don’t stay at the front of the park. This park is also relatively pricey. I paid roughly $80 per night. It was Memorial Day weekend, and they’re right next to Gatlinburg, so I figured it was as good as I was going to get. The facilities and the friendly staff make it worth it. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained, and there are shower stalls with doors. There’s a very small market in the office, but they only have a very very small selection. I would not rely on the office for your grocery needs, but it’s nice to know there are options. They also sell firewood for $5 per bundle. They have a good size swimming pool, and a hot tub. No lifeguard on duty, so kids need to be supervised. They do have WIFI, and I measured 25 down, 4 up. However, the quality is intermittent. Plan on using the wifi though, because Verizon was practically non-existent. ALSO! There seems to be another park with the same or similar name. They may have moved, or something but make sure you check out the directions they send you in your checkin email! Make sure you use Smokey Bear Campground & RV Park in your GPS.
All in all, very good campground and RV park with very friendly staff, right near Gatlinburg.
