I stayed here for the night as I was passing through the area. Relatively quiet. My spot was level and the staff were very helpful. There is even a nice park and lake adjacent to the campground. Campground appears to be well maintained.

We stayed here in a 28 ft TT while headed from Alabama to California. The hostess greeted us warmly and explained what to do. We chose a FHU site ( w/e $5 cheaper). Site was very level. Super windy weather due to passing cold front and storms had just passed nearby. Grounds seem very well kept and bathrooms we’re definitely being frequently cleaned but are old and the concrete floors seem pitted and I would not want to shower in them. One day they will hopefully update! Would definitely stay again. We did have Verizon coverage but I don’t remember # of bars.

This is the most clean and well organized campground. Every site is clean there is grass at every site waste cans at every site picnic table at every site quiet the best place we’ve ever stayed for a one night overnight but it would be fine for a longer term 14 day limit. The manager of the site is a very nice and kind person very helpful

Located outside of town, trailer park-like setting, there was a constant drone of traffic on I-40. There were a lot of RVs here, I'm not sure what the attraction is though. We were charged 25.00 a night for full hook up site ( the pdf download of rules from city of El Reno has outdated rates). Friendly lady on a golf cart came by and collected our $. Pay in cash or check. The entrance to the campground was a little hard to find, not well marked.
If you stop here, try to go to Sid's Diner in town. Great staff and fun little place with a mix of locals and vacationers. Small town America.

Very nice campground, In a very convenient site off the interstate. The lady was very friendly when we called her getting information. We arrived at about 430 and was trying to get set up before it got dark. When we set up camp we hadn’t got the payment to the box, at 7 o’clock we hear a loud blasting knock on our front door and she was demanding the money. I don’t like when people treat me like I’m trying to cheat them. Bottom line is pay these people right away or you will get a visit when you think someone’s trying to bust down your front door.

Called a week ahead to make sure there would be space and that there where fully accessible, working bathrooms and showers. Arrived to discover they close and lock down the bathrooms from 7pm to 7am!!!! No warnings or forewarning when we called. After hours guy was beyond rude and offered zero solutions. Wouldn’t recommend at all:(. Had to hook back up and find a different place to stay to be able to visit this small town.

Mostly level site. I had trouble finding the phone number. But I got it by calling the city. This is a city park and they set the rules like they lock the bathrooms at 7pm. But we use our own toilet so no big deal. The checkout time is 5pm.
Full hookups are $25.00, water and electric is $20.00.

We got to the campground after dark (7pm) and had a bit of a hard time figuring out where to park. I’d called ahead and the woman was super friendly, told me to pay by dropbox and pick any site if we came in after 4pm, which we did. I didn’t have the right change so paid $30 instead of $25 but a man stopped by in the morning with a $5 bill, which was awesome.
Bathrooms were clean and showers were warm, but locked from 7pm-7am, which was a little sad since we’d been looking forward to showers that night.
Not too many people camping there in Feb, which was really nice. Power, water and sewer hookup was $25. Highway noise steady all night but not obnoxious. Pretty setting by a lake -saw two great blue herons when out walking the dogs in the morning.
Kind of hard to find the campground -Apple Maps took us into a residential area. Should’ve kept driving along the road until we saw the rock sign that says Lake El Reno Camping West. Would’ve been easier to navigate in the daylight but we figured it out in the end.

I came in after dark, in a 50-60mph windstorm. There are no maps of grounds posted, so I just grabbed the closest one with 30-amp and water. I called their number listed on Campendium and they sent out someone to collect my fee. They also alerted me to the coming freezing temps, so no water hookup til it warmed up. It is only $20 for 30-amp and water (no sewer). It's $25 for all services. Lighting coming in was minimal, but I prefer it that way, it's easier to sleep. When I got up in the morning, I was surprised to see how truly nice this campground is. Not fancy, but leans toward natural setting. Unfortunately, when I got here in the windstorm it was 60*. When I woke up, the cold front that caused the wind came through and it was 25*. It was quiet, dim lighting, so I slept well. The park is very well kept. Hope we all treat the park with respect and consideration, as this park is literally right beside a new home development on one side. It appears the this park was an outlier, but the city is starting to encroach. Trash and bad behavior could cause the loss of this hidden gem!! I will stay here again. T-mobile was 5g, but a fairly slow service. The staff was friendly and helpful! Getting to the park from the I-40 is a winding affair through residential roads, but google navigation got me there accurately. Enjoy it while you can!!!
