A short block off I20. All sites for overnight are pull through with full hook ups, cable tv and decent internet.
The area is typical oil boom town environment which equates to dirty and the odor of petroleum when the wind blows. The actual site was level and hard packed dirt. The staff were very nice to deal with.
Nothing special. A great overnight location.

Came in from CO on our way to NM. Office manager took us to our site which was an easy gravel pull through. Cable TV worked great but wifi was spotty.

We arrived late and left early so we really don't have much to say. Seemed clean enough and was quiet. We stayed one night in a 31' class C and used only electric.

Reservations were easy by phone. They mixed up the date but corrected it with no hassle. The RV parks in the region are all just parking lots in the desert. This one is a little nicer but not high end. There is little cover or separation except that the park is not full. The sites are gravel/dirt. They are mostly level but I did need a leveler. Full hookups and pull through sites are available for all size rigs. The WiFi is better than average for a campground but still slow. ATT has 3 bars of 5G. Cable TV is available but we got most channels by antenna. The management is friendly and helpful. This is a good place to break up the drive across western Texas. I would recommend a visit to the Petroleum Museum. The map of the camp shows restrooms, showers, a workout room, laundry and dog wash.

Basic park. Full hookups. Perfect for over night stay- clean showers and laundry rooms. The internet was fast. And propane filling on site. We definitely stay again. Great stop for the price.

Nice stop over. Gravel, level, all services work as expected. Staff was very friendly, bathrooms, showers & laundry are VERY clean and updated. Tokens & quarters are available at the office. Site #66, Long Pull through, easy in/out. Surprisingly strong internet & good cable. HEB, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, lots of resupply options in the area. We would stay here again.
Only negative, which is no fault of the campground, is there is a LOT of construction in the area making entry a challenge with some scary U Turns in the city because our Garmin doesn’t register it. So for any traveling in the immediate future here’s some notes.
Exit 134 is closed (2/11/22), take exit 135. Do NOT try any route that takes you on the entrance through town, that end of Midland Road is closed. Stay on the frontage road, go through the 4 way stop (the frontage road curves up & back), then continue on the frontage road (has some construction but is passable) to Midland road, take a right, the park will be on the left. The office is the 1st entrance and pretty clearly marked.
If you’re traveling in the next month or so, call ahead and they can give you the latest ‘best’ route... wish we had, newbie mistake.

We stayed here over Christmas. We were able to book entirely online, which was nice. The site was dirt. Lots of full time residents as you might expect.
A cold front blew through that froze up everyone's water hookups for several days, but that's not their fault. They provided heat lamps to try and thaw it all out but it didn't help. Our sewer cap was also frozen shut and it took a day or two for someone to come fix it.
No issues with power wiring or voltage. AT&T speeds were 33 Mbps down and 21 Mbps up with a Pepwave roof mounted antenna. I didn't try their WiFi.

We spent one night here, ok place to spend the night. This is a very large park with a lot of permanent residents but they had 12 pull through sites that seemed to be for overnighters. We were able to pull in and stay without unhooking which is a plus. The freeway is close by so there is road noise. We did not use the restrooms or laundry.

Needed a place for an overnight and didn't want to unhook. 27ft towable and F350. The spot I booked online wouldn't allow us to do that. Great office staff and maintenance found us a spot that would. Maintenance even checked on us later. Great customer service. Park was ok, dirt but level spot. Not a nice dog run, dirty and smelled. For an overnight it was fine.

Ours was a two-night stay. We needed a park with a shower since our van doesn’t have one. We booked over the phone and mentioned this need and they kindly assigned us a spot very close to the bathrooms.
One nice thing about the park is that there are quite a few shady trees though they look like they’re over residents’ spaces rather than overnight. But from what we’ve seen online, that’s not very common.
Our site was #58, would work as a pull thru easily and very adjacent to the bathrooms.
One con: close to I20 and it’s a bit noisy. It could be because of the people getting up at diff hours through the night.
NOTE: as of the time of this review (4/2024), there is construction on I20 so you are detoured if coming from east.
