Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 09, 2021This place is so cramped that our awning touched the neighbor’s. There’s a spot of grass between some sites and a few trees. It’s horrendously expensive, as is everything near Sun Valley, and we only stayed here because we were visiting friends and didn’t have time or energy to hunt for something better. Hope you do!

We stayed here this past February. It was the only place we found that is open for camping during the winter. We choose one heck of a time to show up! It was one of the snowiest winters ever, not to mention extremely cold as well. The maintenance crew did an incredible job on plowing the snow in the camping spots. Take a look at the photos, they speak for themselves! We did have full hookups, but chose not to hook up the water due to the -20 degree temps each night. The sewer could be used with the help of a maintenance worker bringing de-icer during the process. The location to Sun Valley Ski area was less than 5 minutes away. That was a bonus! It made going to and from the mountain a breeze. If you need propane you will find propane back in Hailey, Idaho. We had to refill our propane tanks twice since we had the heat running non-stop. A special note to add, the new RV Park manager Valerie was awesome! We had to re-book our reservations 3 times due to road passes being shut down due to snow. She had no issues with changing those around for us. She made the booking, checking in and stay very nice. She was really good at contacting us making sure everything was working well. We really appreciated that! We hope to be back during the summer months next time to enjoying the scenery and hiking.

Well, the space from your camper door to your neighbors door is about 12 feet. Small old bathhouse. 80 yards off a busy highway. Backs up to a trailer park.. sewer pipe is smaller than any I have seen so most adapters for your hose might not work. Sewer pipe is also at terrible location. Electric boxes feel like I could rip them out of the ground by hand. It was a bummer in a beautiful place.

Price reflects FHU, level site. No amenities. We did not use shower/bathrooms. Laundry was off-site at nearby residential community. Campground was pleasant with mountain views. Some road and construction noise during the day, quiet at night. Best 'amenity' is location to area attractions and it's right off the Big Wood River bike trail to Ketcham and Hailey. Wi-fi was minimal but good cell signal, especially AT&T. We probably would have been less happy if they had been busier since sites share a small patch of grass and picnic table with another rig, but we didn't have anyone parked that close. It's pricey for what there is but seems to be no alternative in this area except boondocking/national forest sites.

If its winter and if you ski, awnings and lack of grass wont make a difference. The place only had a few other brave December RVers i cant speak to summer spacing. Since we needed to be near sun valley to babysit my 4 & 8 year old nieces and there are no other rv parks nearby it worked just fine. The Sawtooth area is a favorite but with snow and a 40 foot rv there was no way. Plus we were on school duty. The bathrooms were clean and the laundry was clean. Yes its off site but no further away than in places I've stayed with them onsite. Surprisingly the highway is quiet, especially at night. The staff were super nice, especially Rita.

This is a basic FHU park with no amenities. The sites are tight and you are close to Hwy 75. That said, the area is beautiful, you can walk to the Wood Run paved walking/biking m/running trail and the proximity to Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley is perfect.
The manager Perry was great and the staff were very friendly. They were working overtime to get the sites rehabbed from a long winter of snow. Since it was early spring, which is shoulder season, we had the whole end of the park to ourselves. Our big rig fit in the tight spot and were happy there was no one nearby! We probably would have been less happy if they had been busier since sites share a small patch of grass and picnic table with another rig, but the end sites like 24 and 25 don’t share the common grass area.
We did not use shower/bathrooms or laundry. Overall, this park is pleasant and has some mountain views. We heard some road during the day but it was very quiet at night.
The Wi-fi was minimal but good cell signal, especially Verizon was great.

Pros: Close to town and right on the bike path.
Cons: extremely small space between campers. Got told to pick my mat up out of the dirt because they were trying to grow grass. Okay, I get it. But it’s mid July, in a heat wave and a extreme drought, with signs saying “conserve water”. Fun fact: that’s not grass, it’s weeds living in the moon dust. Your grass didn’t make it, sorry/not sorry for the bad news. Our sewer hook up had been broken off, probably from someone running it over trying to get in or out, and was covered by a brick. Smell that??? I do to. This place is 💩.

I'll start with the good...the camp host and manager are absolutely lovely people. They were so kind....from letting us check in early, making change so we could do laundry, making it so we didn't have to change sites halfway through our stay and being more than happy to accept a package of baby formula for us. However....the sites are RIGHT on top of each other. We full time and stay in a lot of campgrounds....this was the tightest I've seen. The spots are flip flopped so you open doors to your neighbors. We love people but when there is all of 3 feet between your rigs it feels like a parking lot. Make sure you have extra sewer lines...you'll need them to reach because the hookups are way far back on the sites. Also they say grass is between the sites....not on all rows. Ours was a mix of dirt and weeds. No grass in sight.
All in all...it's hard because there is no where else to stay in the area. We were going to leave and boondock the last few nights because we were over feeling like we were in a parking lot but it was almost 95F out...
Location is great so there is that!

sites are 4-5 apart —- no exaggeration. it is an awkward arrangement and not a fun way to camp. Worst campground i’ve been to, hands down.

As others have stated this RV park is basically a parking lot where you have a small strip of grass between sites. That being said, it is the closest location to Sun Valley with full hookups. We visited in April for some late season skiing and it was perfect for what we needed. It wouldn’t be my fist choice in summer but it was not crowded in Spring, was quiet and super convenient to town and the ski resort.
