This park is next to Lion County Safari. We could hear the Lions roaring and the primates talking but nothing was on the loose! The grounds are very clean but the sites are tiny. You need a guide to get into them. Most of our fellow campers were seasonal visitors from Quebec who spend every winter here. You get full hookups and wifi but no cable. The price per night is very high even with a KOA discount. There is a small store on the site but it is not well stocked. There is a pool, laundry, showers, rec hall, etc like other KOAs.

It's an RV park so don't expect spacious accommodations. But for an RV park it's actually pretty nice. It's a couple of miles from the highway so there is very little traffic noise. Sites are well maintained, staff and residents are friendly (many seasonal from Canada and parts north). It's big so there is space to walk and there is a large dog park. The laundry is big enough and reliable. There is a pool. Groceries are not too far away but the beach is. Verizon is 4G and plenty fast for work, the wifi is actually not bad at least in the non peak hours. For unique you get to hear the lions roar from next door.

We stayed here after checking into one of the local county parks and having a pretty bad experience. We were somewhat in a bind so we didn’t have a choice to find a less expensive option. This is your typical KOA where everything is so-so. The surface of our spot was grass and our neighbor had a 5th wheel, his truck, and a boat all parked on his site. It was a bit of a circus. Some of the rigs are run down and some haven’t moved for years. There is a lion safari park next to the KOA and you can hear the lions roar at night and in the morning. That was a pretty cool experience for the family. We didn’t go to the safari park but heard mixed reviews when we were there. Also, it was one of the few KOAs that is gated with codes to access after hours.

Basic amenities, park was half empty, fire pits not allowed so very quiet at night as no one would stay outside with the nasty mosquitoes around. Super close to the drive-through Safari which you can see in about 90 mins from the comfort of your car (Perfect for social distancing). Additional attractions were closed due to COVID19 restrictions. It was an OK stay, and would do it again if visiting relatives in the area. Watch-out if you go out for dinner as gate closes at 10 PM and you will need an electronic key to go back in ($20 deposit to get one, which gets refunded when you return it).

We found this campground cluttered. Neighbors intruded on our campsite with games and lawn chairs, but worst of all cigarette smoke. The roar of the lions at the nearby outdoor zoo was surprising and somewhat entertaining. We became accustomed to the sounds but our dog didn't.
The Zoo was worth visiting. No WiFi or cable.

It’s about 10 miles from the Florida Turnpike and 15 miles to West Palm Beach. Located a a drive through safari which kids will love. Roads are wide and easily manageable with our 37’ class A. The site was level and a nice area between all sites. Verizon is a slow one bar. Staff was friendly and a nice escort to the site.

This location is very clean and the staff were friendly. We were here during the winter and the pool was clean, water clear, and comfortable to swim in still. The sounds of the animals are very cool! The roar of the lions are booming and they start at about 4 am. Recommend if you are sensitive to noise to bring a loud fan or white noise machine to help drown out the sounds. We experienced some scout ants getting into the rv, but not terrible.

I am assuming this park has a full of snowbirds, many from Montreal in the winter months. We arrived mid -March for a short spring break trip and the park was not full…many people were leaving. Its nice because there a very few full timers but a good bit of long termers in the winter. So an older crowd. Huge heated pool. Very pet friendly. You can hear the lions roar along with other animals from the Lion Safari park - which is very cool. If you buy your tickets at the office they are discounted. I highly suggest going to the park - it’s great. Kids loved it. The park was empty during the week…which was amazing. No lines! Great little family trip!

We arrived after hours and checked in by phone. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The one main complaint was that our site was full of tree roots making leveling a bit of a challenge. But the facilities are well maintained. We will be back!
