Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 18, 2016This campground is big and the sites are comfortable but the roads are in bad shape and the entire campground has seen better days. The pool is slimy and gooey and the bathrooms are old and rustic also unheated. There are cabins and permanent mobile homes. When it rained the main road stayed flooded for days and since they were unpaved they became rutted mud holes. The staff were from another planet. They were friendly enough but strange and unhelpful. In fact,
we were pretty much ignored the entire time. It felt like they were running an empty campsite and we were just ghosts they tolerated. We searched for other places in the area but pickings were slim.
The only reason we'd go back is because sometimes it's nice to be left alone especially after a month long stay at a soup Nazi like park like the one we stayed prior to coming here. Whispering Palms in Sebastian Fl. if you must know.
If you get hungry, there's a box of doughnuts in the office every morning. Do your laundry somewhere else. The washing machines need to be cleaned before use and the dryers take a few cycles to damp dry your clothes. Get your propane somewhere else too!

Stayed for 9 months while working in Tallahassee and it served its purpose wonderfully. It didn’t have a ton of bells and whistles but was half the cost of other campgrounds. It’s very quiet. The pool was nice. The staff worked with me nicely when checking in/out and setting up monthly payments.
Start off by making a reservation anywhere else! This is an old KOA campground that has zero KOA standards and 100% of the price. I totally understand that there was a hurricane a couple weeks ago, but if your camp sights are too soft - do not rent them out! We, along with some other campers, were concerned about getting stuck. We had to drive through very large mud puddles. The grass hasn’t been mowed in a very long time (our car actually picked up the long grass as an object that we were going to hit, sending off an alarm in the car). There was nothing clean about this place - except the pool looked like it was taken care of. The picnic table we had looked to be 30 years old - broken and covered in mold. Also, their wifi was out, and they did not bother to mention that. There are two other campgrounds that are close by that would have been a much better route to go. Do not stay here!

Our favorite part of this campground is that it is very limited with people and maximize space!!! We played music, let our dogs run and play fetch, and loved that no one was in our business. Camping FREE!! FREEDOM ELITE, BABY!! All DAY!! This campground is two miles off the hwy in the woods (yet parallel to the hwy so it is noisy and you can see the passing cars.....🤷🏽♀️Super cute playground! Two slides, swings(including a baby swing), basketball and hoop, tetherball, lots of seating for chillin moms and dads like us, and a little cabin play house. Super adorns!! Izzy played restaurant with a drive through. We had a blast! I climbed the tall steps and went down the fast slide. haha The mattress at the end is super odd 🤷🏽♀️ someone's awesome idea face! hahahaa. The pool is a bit questionable as it could defiantly use some updates but it is closed for the season so we didn't dive in anyways. In the campers lounge area there is a pool table(Izzy got to play), a tv with dvds, a cool juke box, a computer for guests to. use, and a cozy looking couch. Someone is being super cute decorating for Christmas with a pretty tree(which Izzy loved) and a formal dining table(makes me wonder what we will do for Thanksgiving-Follow us across the USA-NoMads with Mama Bear on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100095191901150 ). Our site had a 30 amp electric (50 was also available, water, and sewer(defiantly needs updating). No picnic table(we could have brought one from another site but like our camping chairs better so we didn't). No fire ring. We asked the office for one and they said we could go find one ourselves somewhere in the park. We didn't have much luck as most of the rings were taken or damaged 🤷🏽♀️ we searched high and low but only found 4 in the park. One was so old and rusty it wasn’t worth picking up. (No ER visits on this trip, pls) The other fire rings were either on permanent sites with lots of debris in them already, so we didn’t bother with a ring. The showers and bathrooms seem clean and cozy. We seen a few random cats strolling around.
The staff seemed kind and easy going This campground also doubles as a storage unit center. It does seem a bit cluttered. The back of this campground is a trailer park. Several campers were older with pretty severe delopitated appearences. The full timers we met were all very kind and keep it pushing. This campground-(and other business idea faces) seems nice but we are a bit outside our comfort zone. . Overall we would stay a night here again but not long term. We are Love aLive YO!
