I had low expectations after reading reviews on other review sites (I really think some people forget they are camping). We had nothing but a positive experience. We stayed here for 3 nights over the Labor Day Weekend 2017 (which was 112 degrees each day) in our Travel Trailer with our 3 kids.
Firstly, we had a lovely welcome from the lady in the office. She saw we had kids and explained all the extra activities (that are free) like the movie nights and shaved ice in the afternoons.
The pool was great. So good to have when it was 112 degrees. Yes, there were 70 people in there and the water became murky towards the end of the day (Crystal Clear the next day), but given the heat, everyone was respectful, friendly and was having a great time.
Our site was level and clean. Considering the heat and all the air conditioners running, we had no issue with the power. The only challenge we had was the distance to the sewer hookup. Fortunately, our hose reached but the helpful campground staff was will to lend us an extension had it not reached.
The campground is situated in a beautiful, quiet area away from main roads and business. An extremely relaxing location. It is close enough to civilization if you need to go to Safeway (about 20 min away) or the amazing Ice Cream Store in Cloverdale. There are so many wineries close by. Dry Creek, Russian River, Alexander Valley are all accessible.
Yes, the mini golf has seen better days, but our kids (Aged 6 & 8), couldn't care less and spent many hours playing and having a great time (Did I mention it is free?)
Our kids also enjoyed riding their scooters around, although I'd recommend bikes over scooters!
WiFi worked and was fast enough for email and Facebook. Although AT&T phone reception was great and ended up using it.

We were there early in the season and during the week so it was quiet. There were some long-tern campers next to us that played their music a bit loud one night but overall is was not a problem.
The camp sites in general are rustic, and not well kept. There had been a lot of rain this past winter and spring so most of the grass was very tall, even in our site. Bathrooms were a bit long in the tooth but clean and the mini golf course was a mess still from winter.
What I loved about the place was the crickets quipping, the frogs around the pond that brayed like donkeys, the deer and all the natural beauty. It was great to hike around the campground in the mornings with the pooch and enjoy the rolling hills and views.
Our coach is 40 ft and we made it no problem to the campground BUT it was a steep and windy road with no shoulders. For the passenger, that was a built nerve wracking going up.
We didnt want to be out of that road after dark so we didn't go out for dinner in any of the nearby towns.
The proximity to the vineyards and wine tasting areas was great so we spent most of our time out and about during the day. Love Healdsburg ...

When I pay more for a Koa, I’m expecting WiFi, cable, level spot, etc. this was not that. Advertised WiFi, but none. At least I had decent cell. No cable. Site was not level. We normally dry camp, so I don’t have an issue with any of that except that this is a KOA and said they had it. Additionally, I reserved a pull through and there was no way my TT was going in this spot without 8” of leveling. AND, the site had the door facing the road and the amenities on the other side.
That said, this is in a good location for wine country. The road up is difficult and has a one lane bridge section, steep hills and twisty road. Would stay again because of location, but don’t expect a great KOA.

I stayed last 2 nights. Host John was polite and pleasant. I was in site 17. Nothing to really see and spots in my opinion are quite close together. This site would be good for 2 families. It’s a good ways off hwy 101. Like maybe 20 minutes. My site had power and water which I wasn’t expecting. Site cost I thought was high but we are on CA and in wine country plus with hook ups I guess it was at par.

Nice quiet location in wine country. A little pricey after child fees and taxes. Nice playground area, the campgrounds are clean and pretty well kept. Most, if not all, of the RV spots are full hook up. Only a couple of sites are pull thru. We generally rely on antenna for tv but we are able to stream with at&t and Verizon..

Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this campground. The staff was very friendly, the views from the porch were amazing, it’s a good location for enjoying Cloverdale, Healdsburg, and Santa Rosa. Walking around the campground, some sites were very nice. Some sites were extremely narrow. We felt the facilities needed attention - they were not as clean as we are used to at most RV parks and KOAs we have stayed in. The laundry facility had several broken machines and the app used to pay for the machines was confusing and we lost money using it. We would stay here again, but would request one of the nicer sites.

Very nice staff, spot was huge overlooking a dry creek. Drive in off of 101 is a bit narrow and windy. If you have a tall rig there are lots of low hanging branches and narrow passways but ultimately it’s worth it it’s a great campground.
