This is an old KOA and in many respects looks it. The oil exploration industry in this area has exploded and this RV Park has expanded and then expanded again. They have added many sites for the transient oil and pipeline workers.
The original park seems to have suffered during this expansion.
Travelers are put in the old KOA so there will be some grass and trees. The roads in the parks are pot holed and narrow, the sites are close but there is a picnic table and a bit of grass. Utilities are conveniently placed. The park is clean but looks rather ragged and unkempt. Not dirty or trashy, just not daily maintained to a high standard. This has become a big park requiring a lot of work on a daily basis. I don't see it.
There are bathrooms both at the office and in a free standing building out on the grounds. The bathrooms appeared clean. The bathroom/showers on the grounds were usable but a few loose and broken items needed replacement and/or repair. They were clean enough to be comfortable.
The laundry was adequate but some equipment was out of service.
Wi-Fi was good and consistent during the day, cable was also good.
This is not a bad park, just not a good park at this time.
Oh, and yes, there is a restaurant and I'm told it is good, but this isn't necessarily a reason to stop at anything but the restaurant.
Got to go to the cafe. Great Catfish and chicken fried steak!!
We stayed one night while moving across TX. The park is east of the town of Fort Stockton which makes it a quiet stay. The staff was extremely friendly. They have many long pull throughs for all the one nighters. Site and roads are gravel and rather close but fine for the night. Our row of sites was very level. It is quite dusty arriving as the road to the park is also gravel. The park has decent WiFi and cable. There is also a restaurant as part of the park that serves dinner and breakfast. The food is suppose to be very good but we didn't eat there. They have a large dog park and a pool. The park is absolutely silent at night.

This was a perfectly good place for an overnight stop while crossing Texas, and based on the number of rigs we saw arriving in the afternoon and leaving in the morning, overnight seems to be how long most visitors stay. We made a reservation in advance just in case, and it turned out to be a good thing as the park was full that night. $34 was the Good Sam rate. The park, a former KOA, is a typical RV park with fairly close rows of gravel pull-throughs, but with enough trees to break up the monotony. Our pull-through was just long enough for our motorhome and tow car, but the sewer was all the way at the back of the site and we couldn't reach it even with our sewer hose extension. The WiFi worked, but slowly, when we first arrived, but by evening it was unusable. AT&T and Verizon had good signal, but AT&T data was extremely slow (overloaded tower maybe) while Verizon was fast. There's a good-sized dog park. Despite being very close to I-10 there was very little highway noise, at least from our site. We'd definitely stop here again for an overnighter.

Clean nice reasonably priced park. Friendly staff and good food in the seasonal restaurant . Cable TV hook up worked well. We only stayed one night but what we experienced at this park was pleasant. Nice fenced in dog area which was lighted at night. Not a destination park but works very well for a break from travel. We considered staying a second night but pushed on instead.

We were needing an overnight stay in between San Antonio and Tucson. Fort Stockton is a good halfway point. We were hoping to stay at Hilltop RV, but when I called a couple hours before arriving, they were full. This park was option #2, they had room and it was convenient to the interstate. (But that also meant noisy)
What made our experience difficult was arriving in the dark. The park has lit signs but the road, but we still didn't see them well. The road is somewhat narrow and Google maps told us to take a u-turn down the service road - which was completely wrong.
It was difficult to navigate the park and the size spot we requested was no where near big enough. Our camper barely fit let alone the pick-up. We ended up finding a slightly larger spot. Unfortunately, it wasn't level at all.
The park residents were friendly and I did get a glimpse of the dog park, it also looked nice.

This was along our route for an overnight. The park is very big and busy with a lot of seasonal/full timers, many seemed to be workers around the area (oil and wind energy). The cafe was cute for breakfast. We stayed one night and it was perfect for that, not much else going on to make it a destination. We met a nice couple and all the other rigs and campers seemed nice. Bathrooms were a 6-7 out of 10, didn’t shower. Herb, in the office was very friendly! For our Jeep and 20 foot rig our site was PERFECTLY level!

We stayed here for 2 nights in February 2018. Typical "parking lot" style campground just off I-10. Even though I-10 is 100 feet from the edge of the park our site which was one of the furthest away was very quiet. We paid $33. for a full hook up site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a dog park for the furry ones to play in, a nice little restaurant on site, propane, laundry, showers and even a pool! The park was well kept and clean. Fort Stockton was @ 15 minutes with a Super Walmart for provisions. This was the last larger town for us to resupply before heading to Big Bend National Park.

Nice level site, easy to get in and out. Friendly staff. I thought there was plenty of room between sites as well. Very quiet but still close to the main road. Very easy access to I-10. People tend to stay one night and not even unhook so lots of traffic in and out but not annoying at all. They have a diner on site which is genius. Only tried breakfast and it was good. If we are ever back in the area we would stay again.

Site was level, so stayed hitched. Great little cafe. We had grilled chicken with beans and mashed potatoes and a huge biscuit. WIFI was fast enough to stream Netflix. Verizon was good too. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Note, if coming in from the West bound I10, where the ramp intersects with the service road, turn LEFT to get to the entrance.
