Drive along the sparkling rush of the Tellico River, stop at overlooks to take in expansive views of the Tennessee Valley and waves of mountain peaks, hike to high elevation mountain balds or nearby Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. This is truly a ride above the clouds! Be sure to start your trip in Tellico Plains at the Tellico Grains and Bakery. This is the best little restaurant that you will ever visit. Then enjoy the gorgeous views across the Cherohala Skyway. You will not be disappointed!

This was an Amazing ride on the bike! Don't forget the Foothills Parkway & the Tail of the Dragon. These make for a great loop to drive and take in the scenery. The HydroElectric Dams in the area are also a wonderful lesson in History.
