If you’re looking for somewhere close to Louisville with full hookups this is a great spot for the price.
We’ve booked a week each time because they offer a discount, plus take GS membership.

Location is the best part of the place though. It’s not the kind of campground you can sit outside and enjoy your time camping. It’s literally a place to park your rig and sleep.

The sites are so small that your neighbors water and electric hookups are out your front door. In our time here we’ve had two different neighbors come in and BOTH times we’ve had to put in our awning just so they could use their slides that stick out into our spot. There is literally zero space or privacy.

The site is also right next to a railroad track that is pretty loud. I’m usually a heavy sleeper but it still woke me up several times a night.

Cell service isn’t great, but Starlink did work with minimal issues. Ever tried the free WiFi.

It is within a mile walk to shops and restaurants on the Indiana side. You can also walk the bridge over to downtown louisville, so if that’s what you’re here for then the location is great.

We stop here a lot, it is at our outer limit for one day's travel form the north. We arrived right before the office closed on 3/7/2017. IT IS A GOOD SAM CAMPGROUND. When I made reservations thru KOA - KOA automatically defaulted to Louisville South, so I had no reservation, but they found a spot. I was grateful.

Bathrooms clean, noisy place, but there is a great park to walk the dog. We have friends downtown , so it's easy to visit.

If you're looking for a lot of green space and family friendly amenities, go someplace else. But if you want a clean, safe campground with full hook-ups within a cheap Uber ride to Louisville, this is the place! The staff is friendly and helpful. The camp store is clean and well stocked. The sites are small but level. Our site was partially shaded. The bathrooms are older, but clean. We didn't use the showers. There is a railroad track close by, but we are used to railroad noise. The trains seemed infrequent and did not wake us up. There is a park across the street where you can exercise your canine companion(s). Also a small water park that looks like it would be fun for kids within easy walking distance. Downtown Louisville is close enough to bicycle to via the Big 4 pedestrian bridge. Our Uber rides to downtown ranged from $8 to $12. We had a great time in Louisville, thanks in large part to the convenient location of this campground.

This campground is urban. The sites are tar and back to back. But, we really liked it! We liked it so much that we ended up extending our original two nights into five. We happened to be on the corner, so we had a little green space behind our motorhome.

The campground has a little play area with a swing, so my daughter was happy. There is a big green field across from the Office to walk the dog, so my dog was happy. My son loved that the train ran by a couple a times during the day. And, the laundry room is super clean, bright, and reasonably priced, so I was happy! Also, the restrooms are clean and there's a code to enter.

Most of the staff go out of their way to help. They have awesome working wifi and Verison comes in fine. It's situated right outside of Louisville -- so a great location.

If you are looking to be close to downtown Louisville, this is the campground for you. The staff was super nice and the location is very convenient for getting downtown. It's basically just a parking lot. Also, there is a train that runs behind the campground all night long. Keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper! There is a gas station on site which made filling up propane and gas super easy. The laundry was amazing - cheap and 6 washers and dryers. I was able to get completely caught up on laundry! We rode bikes to downtown Louisville from here and had a great afternoon. There are also neat places to go on the Indiana side of the river. All in all, we had a great stay and if we are ever in the Louisville area again we would gladly stay here for the convenience.

We came to Louisville for a wedding and needed a place to stay with our RV. I called ten minutes before arrival and asked about availability and when I got there the manager came out and walked us into our spot.

The general area is a little rough with razor wire on fences around businesses. We Ubered to town and noticed that one of the managers was outside on a bench watching the Uber car come in and then us leave. They were definitely aware of all going on. We felt comfortable leaving our pets inside our RV while we were away and when we came back, all was well.

I recommend this campground for its central location and well run facility.

As others have stated, trains running pretty much all night long. Really didn't be too much of a problem.
Most of the sites that are next to the tracks are very tight, and should only be used for campers 20' or less.
Very fair prices on items at the convenience store. $1.50 for 10lbs of ice, gas was the best price I found in the area, doesn't show up on gas buddy.
WiFi connections were adequate.
Would stay here again!!

Stayed one night. Tight and difficult roads to navigate to the park. Our Garmin 770 saved us and navigated around a low train bridge at 10ft. Nightly trains, tight narrow roads to navigate in and out. Not big rig friendly. However the staff was super friendly offered to help us get out of the park to avoid hitting buildings, other rigs etc.

Level, paved pull-thru sites. Full hook-ups with 50 amp. Back-in sites also available. Clean and well maintained. Organized well. Urban campground as some have described and is really an RV parking place with full hookups. Sites are very close and not separated so not a campground for sitting around a campfire and hanging out. But it is a great place to stay while visiting Louisville and Southern Indiana.

We stayed 3 days tending to business matters and will mark this on our list of good places to stay.

Water pressure is very high so be sure to bring a regulator.

Nice campground with one of the easiest and most pain free check-ins we have experienced. We were in a pull-through in the middle one of three rows, easy to get in and out for us but I could see where this park might not be big rig friendly. Sites are TIGHT, you can sit outside and hang out but if you neighbor has slides they are gonna be hanging over your picnic table. Hook-ups are in good shape but the water pressure is HIGH, like 75 psi, so make sure you use your pressure regulator. Laundry is priced right at $1.25 a wash and $.75 a dry and there are six shower rooms for those that need them. There is also a gas station and convenience store on site offering gas, diesel and propane. Train track right behind the park and trains run at all hours but no horns that I heard, so if that bothers you that would be something to take into account. Easy to get back and forth to Louisville, toll free, via the Hwy 31 bridge but don't discount Clarksville/Jeffersonville, there is some cool stuff to do there as well, Falls of the Ohio State park is just a few miles away and is fascinating. Cell signal was strong and fast, park wide WiFi was surprisingly fast as well. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
