“boasting 320 acres of water”
The chance to sleep in an authentic retired caboose, put-and-take trout fishing and outstanding camping facilities highlight the outdoor fun at Two Rivers SRA, located southwest of Venice. The 622-acre area boasts 320 acres of water in several sandpit lakes. Besides a variety of fishing opportunities and non-powered boating, there is an unsupervised swimming beach and concession. Two Rivers also has bicycles for rent and an accessible fishing pier With five camping areas and 209 padded sites, Two Rivers can handle everything from pup tents to huge RVs on 113 pads with hookups (30 amp). Some have water hookups. Modern restrooms, showers, drinking water, and a dump station are conveniently located. For those camping with a tent, Two Rivers offers tent camping sites. Ten bright cabooses were refurbished by the Game and Parks Commission to sleep six. Permanently side-tracked on actual rails, the cabooses offer a unique lodging opportunity from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Really nice park, decent amount of space per site, we had a great time with our two dogs. But be warned - the main (and pretty much only) trail left our small dogs with about 30 ticks each. Miserable return home trying to get them all out of their fur. Part of it is the weather, but we felt the trail wasn’t well maintained. Beachfront was also not level/small. Might be awhile before we come back!

Unexpected beauty in Nebraska! We loved our site right on the river. This would be a great place for dog owners. There's a lot of space, grass, and trails to explore. The bath house is dilapidated, but has great water pressure. Our site was water and electric only, but with a dump station centrally located serving the 4 campgrounds. It's about a 20 minute drive into town for groceries.

all we had was 50 amp hookup,no water or or anything, like alot of state parks, but there was a water outlet right up the road to fill up, good water, the dump station was all the way in the back but that was fine, we had to go to the next campsite for the showers, the walk sucked but the showers were great, they are building a new shower closer but that would be done till next year the front office said lol, lots of trees which interfered with my satellite so we asked to move one spot over and it was no problem, they said go ahead. the beach was real nice. lots of people on the weekends but that's understandable. you are a ways from towns but that didn't bother us, we stay at our rigs most nites anyways lol. over all a real nice camp ground and we would stay here again,

Fairly spacious sites. We were in Lakeside campground and had great neighbors on both sides.
Very busy, popular campground between Omaha and Lincoln.
Loud air boats on the adjacent rivers.
LONG LINES at the single dump station Sunday!
Hydrants in campgrounds are NOT available for fresh water.

I have been camping in this park since I was a little boy 55 years not much is changed. Excellent shower house is very clean and the staff that cares. You do need a Nebraska state park sticker to get in.
