We stayed here a couple times, the most recent being in 2021. The site we chose backs up to the Verde River, and was next to a cottage (that was empty) and another RV site on the other side. Being close to the river is wonderful. You can hear it from your campsite. We didn't use any of their amenities as we are self-contained.
- Water/electric/sewer hookups. We no issues with any of these.
- Easy check-in/out
- River is close by.
- Convenient location to Jerome, Cottonwood, Sedona, and all the historic sites in this area.
- Level sites
We really had no complaints. It was a pleasant stay.

This is a wonderful campground. Many of the sites have trees and grass is everywhere. The sites are clean and it’s perfectly situated for exploring the area. The WiFi works but is quite slow however Verizon works great!
The campground is convenient to Montezuma Castle, Red Rock Crossing and the other well known places to visit. In the little town Camp Verde, there is another great find. Beasley Flat rd has river access and a day use area with picnic tables and such. It’s a free place to go swimming or kayaking or tubing. For kayaking, put in at white bridge.

Our experience was not a pleasant one. I won't go on much of a rant BUT to explain a bit what had happened at the bottom if you care to read.
Pros: You can walk to the river. Plenty of room for doggos. Laundry was close (and clean). GREAT location. Views are good. Cell signal was good also. Level sites.
Cons: Too many rules - front & back of paper full of them. Rude staff.
*Most amenities were closed - we were there during the COVID situation.
Rant: We arrived late. Husband was hooking up water. Broke the PVC putting the lid back on their water contraption. We tried to fix it but we had the wrong PVC size. Called their emergency number because water was spewing EVERYWHERE. Lady was rude and irritated (I get it, I didn't want to be dealing with this at 10pm either). They arrived. Had an attitude like a cranky 5 year old. Asked if they needed help holding a flashlight or anything. They told me to move and said "Nope! I got it. Thanks." So I went inside and let them do their thing... 10 minutes later they knocked and said we had to move our RV up because we are over the 'line' in the back and they needed to 'mow.'
Next day. We got called again. Told to move up... again. They are going to mow. We moved up, reluctantly (it was MAYBE 2ft...)
They mowed the day before we left and the kicker?! The guy mowing the DIRT hit our RV patio!!! Ran right into it!! No damage but STILL!! Pay attention. Then he denied it... It just wasn't our type of park.

It was our first time staying in a RV Resort and it did not disappoint. The amenities were clean, large pool, nice river views and friendly staff. The only issue we had was poor WiFi connections. Other than that, good experience.

I hadn’t been at a rv park for 10 days, this place was an oasis. I got a budget site with hookups for only 32 with my AAA discount. They were SO kind upon check-in and escorted me to my site.
Shower and restroom facilities were mind blowing. The pool and hottub felt soooo good.
I highly recommend

Lots of amenities makes this a full featured resort campground. Updated in many areas makes for a nice home away from home. The campground is a great place for a base camp to explore the area. Great option to access Sedona.

Pros:
Very secure.
Well maintained.
Friendly helpful staff.
Clean bathrooms, laundry facilities and showers.
Maintenance staff was making constant upgrades/improvements to the park while we stayed there.
Convenient camp store.
Cons:
Long-stay neighbor continually let their dogs relieve themselves near our rig.
Another long-stay neighbor smoked cigars outside. With prevailing winds our site was down wind of his - nasty stuff!

The location was nice and offered a lot of things to do outside of the campground such as mountain biking, hiking, fishing and kayaking. It was nice to have power/water/sewer hookup and cable since we generally dry camp. Our spot was under a mulberry tree which was nice for shade but it dropped pods all over the place and the site produced a lot of mud/dirt which was the main downside, aside from being pretty close to other sites. No fire pit (no biggie with the fire ban) or table and pretty limited on spots to put chairs. Free breakfast was nice, as was the craft fair. Lots of full time RVers. Although the amenities were nice, I think we’ll stick with dry camping.

This was our longest campground stay yet , a whole month, and we are so happy we did! The location is awesome to be able to go explore Sedona, flagstaff, and all the area surrounding has to offer. It’s tucked away just enough to be relaxing and quiet though! Amenities were fantastic from mini golf, shuffle board, large pool / hot tub and our favorite - free waffle breakfast Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday! My fiancé’s parents also flew to AZ and stayed in one of the cabins, they are SO cute inside, very well maintained and comfortable. Our site, 439 was on the corner in the back of the campground with grass, big trees and plenty of shade which was huge being in AZ for the month of May. Only downside would be the way the spot are spaced out the back of your rig is relatively close to 2-3 others but you have a ton of space on each side!
