“true hub for all your family activities”
Whether you are visiting Florida to see the Magical Attractions of Disney, Universal Studios, or treating yourself to countless local day trips - October Bend RV Park is a true hub for all your family activities. Locally, within a half hour drive or less from our park, campers have available to them shopping for antiques and collectables, many beautiful springs for diving, swimming, canoeing, fishing, and other natural environmental activities. The Santa Fe River, Ichetucknee River, and the Suwannee River are easily accessed from October Bend RV Park. Fishing, hiking, ATV and biking trails are available onsite. We are an easy commute to the Veteran Affairs Hospitals in Lake City and Gainesville and close to major construction projects in Alachua and Columbia Counties. Whether you drive a 40ft Class A pulling a car, a massive Fifth-Wheel, Class C or any variety of trailer, you will find room to stretch out on any of our 100% pull-through sites. We know that not every RV Park can handle Big-Rigs and it is our pleasure to host yours without the headache of snaking in and out of tight turns and dealing with impossible back-in sites. From the moment you drive your rig down our entrance toward our Giant Oak Tree, you'll follow the road to your very own massive pull-through site with full water, sewer and electrical hookups. Our RV Park is designed specifically for the biggest of rigs and Campers wanting lots of elbow room at their site.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on December 09, 2019Along side I-75 with about 14 sites. Electric, water and sewer. Pretty level ground in the trees. A few miles on sandy road but easy to drive. My husband said bathrooms were clean but not sanitary. Pick your spot first and hook up, then walk down little road and register. Don't drive as you would have to back out if in a big rig. You can hear highway but not bad.

Found this through Passport America. We just needed one night and electricity to run AC’s and CPAP. It was 90° and we were tired, but we didn’t end up staying. Very few open spots— Park is much bigger than their site indicates and it’s almost entirely filled with long-term residents in very long-term RVs. Grassy lot which hadn’t been mowed in ages.
We were greeted by the owner from her vehicle, as she was leaving. She said to make ourselves at home and she’d come collect the money later. We parked and plugged in— and had no power. We wandered the park and found power was off to the whole park. We left and on our way to the highway we passed the manager. She slowed down and rolled her window down so we stopped to tell her there’s no electricity and that’s a dealbreaker. “Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that.” I’m sure.
It’s weirdly located, right next to the highway, but the exit to get there is a bit far away. A long access road to get there, much of it rough dirt.
Not sure how this even passes for an RV Park, but here we are.

We called & made reservations through Passport America for 2 rigs while traveling home to south Florida. There is a 1 1/2 miles of narrow, gravel road leading into this campground which is not advertised. The park is a grassy field which mostly long term sites. We arrived to find one of our sites had been taken & there was no one working at the park. We called & were offered a bedraggled site to share hookups with a permanent & run down rv. The hookups were a tangled mess & the spigot was broken. Combined with the traffic noise & the run down condition of the park in general, we did not feel comfortable and left.
