We stayed here overnight while traveling west through Nebraska on I-80. The campground is about a quarter-mile north of the interstate. Coming from that direction, it's a left turn into the campground onto the long driveway that leads to the office: pull into one of the two left lanes and park to check-in.
The park is currently divided into two sections. The front / north section is where all of the amenities are located and seems to be the home of the short-term spots, while the back section seems to be where most of the long-term residents are located. All of the roads and site pads are gravel and all sites have grass lawns. All of the sites have full-hookups (there is no dump station) and most are 50amp. Some of the sites in the front section have shade trees. Regular sites have picnic tables and fire pits with a grill top; patio sites have either metal chairs or adirondack chairs. The sites are wide enough to allow you to deploy your awning without infringing on your neighbor's space.
We were in site 37, just a few sites away from the office. Our site was long enough to fit our 37-foot fifth wheel and 21-foot truck with a few feet to spare, and was level side-to-side but did slope down a bit at the very front where we parked the truck.
The map we received at check-in was out-of-date as it showed two enclosed dog parks, but only the dog park at the front of the park, which has an airlock gate but no dedicated lighting, still exists. If the dog park is occupied, you can walk your dog in the grassy spots at the front of the campground, the grass area where the second dog park used to be, or the area at the very back of the campground. The office building contains the usual convenience store, a laundry room, and bathrooms with showers. Most of the outdoor recreation options - the pool, playground, jumping pad, and mini golf-course - are located between the office and the dog park, while the horseshoe pit and volleyball court are located in the middle of the cabin sites. Across the street from the office is a small outdoor amphitheatre area with a dozen or so adirondack chairs.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 67 Mbps down and 31 up, and we had no trouble streaming video. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was 6 Mbps down and 7 up. I did a single speed test of the WiFi and saw 59 Mbps down but just 2 up.
At the time of this review, they were in the process of building two new sections of RV sites on the west side of the entrance. According to the staff member I talked to, those sites would be completed before the end of 2024, at which point they would shift the long-term residents over there and then perform some updates to the current campground.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We arrived on a Thursday. We liked the location of this campground and that it’s open later in the season. It’s about a 30 min drive to the zoo. There is a nice shopping center about a mile from here. The bathrooms were okay, looked like there was mold/mildew in the bottom around the caulk. We liked all the kids activities, even my older kids enjoyed most of them. The only thing was we are from MN so on Sunday their website said they were having a pancake breakfast for a cost. I thought that was prefect as we were leaving that day and I wouldn’t have to cook breakfast. Well turns out there was no pancake breakfast. It was on their personal west Omaha koa website. Might want to take it off for future theme weekends if you’re not having it. Also, our site was a okay size, but some of the sites were very small, not much room for between campers.

This is a well maintained KOA, although the sites are very close together. They are expanding so maybe that will improve. There is a well stocked store next to the office and WiFi worked without issue.

We stayed for one night in their deluxe pull through site and it was great. Site was leveled and had a very nice table with chairs along with a separate fire pit sitting area. Staff is always driving around picking up garbage from every site to keep things clean. Lots of activities for the kids to enjoy. The entrance definitely needs some work but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Called ahead and to our luck they had space available. Unfortunately that was in their expansion area. We were dry camping so our site in the expansion area was a hike to the laundry room and restrooms/showers. Not a problem if you’re not using those thing. The site itself was a back in, fairly level and not too close to the neighboring site. Can slightly hear the highway in the distance but not annoyingly. A bit overpriced I’d say but I’m not opposed to stay again if in the area.

stayed here several times as I travel across country. Always accommodating for my dogs - would let me pick a out of way place or one near the dog park. And the best part - pizza delivered to the campsite! Order when you check in and before you have your camp set up, your pizza is delivered to your campsite.

Sorry we had to leave, just got set up and looked at the weather radar, we booked out of there! Nice people, site was not that great for a KOA, but we got level. Good Power etc. Nice store, and they have Pizza. Close to an outlet mall, and other shopping. Wish we could have stayed!

Easy access off I-80. After a day of driving through Nebraska in torrential rain we were glad to get quickly to our pull-through campsite - thanks Kamp hosts. It rained and stormed all night and we left early the next morning, so didn't even get a chance to explore the camp. Lots of big trees and adequate spacing between the sites. Very quiet (apart from the thunder).
