This is indeed in the middle of nowhere. When in said middle of nowhere it’s a great stopping point to get everyone replenished. Especially in the frigid temperatures while we were there the start of spring.
It was redone in the past couple years and is nice. Not amazing and immaculate but nice. The surrounding area pulling up to it needs improvement! Abandoned motels with broken doors and windows, etc.
The kids had a blast splashing around in the big pool and it was plenty warm for adults to hang out too. There is a smaller ice cold plunge pool, as well as a hotter hot tub.
Con: the air was so hot and humid I literally couldn’t put my clothes on after showering. I had to stand by the door in my bra to cool off.
If in the area, I would definitely go again.
