Was our first stop while in Starved Rock. Reminds me of my neighborhood Irish bar, good people, ok food, cold beer but needs a good shine.
We had a great time. The staff is great and so
friendly. The later tag was the best. Bring some $$ because your kids will not stop playing. Great way to spend the evening while at the lodge. We didn't eat there-didn't look very busy.
We had a great time! My kids 7&8 didn't want to leave. The resort staff is so polite and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfy. Washroom clean and provided shampoos which my daughter loved. We went off season so the resort activities were open from 4 till 10 which was great because it forced my kids outside into nature but inconvenient too. The Enchanted Forest was fun and had a few family activities-laser tag was the best. My kids loved the water activities but too much bleach in the water-you smell like pool for days. Free breakfast of sausage and eggs plus cereals, but no food availability after until 4 and then the restaurant seemed dead. Overall, super!!
